Diappointing

The enchilada was not wrapped in the way I expected. The method of preparation here was that a flat corn tortilla was smothered with chicken chunks and a very thin, soupy green chili. The green chili alone would have been flavorful, but the saturated tortilla left something to be desired.

I don't recommend this restaurant. Food was over cooked and made me sick. I'm glad it was only for a few hours of sickness. This did not ruine my stay.

Sorry Your story just doesn't add up We are and have been one of the best restaurants in Southern New Mexico since 1965 We stand by our food. Sometimes we get it wrong but not very often. I also do not appreciate Trip Adviser calling to upgrade our rating on this site by paying them $200.00 for a plaque. More

This wasn't our first choice for lunch but glad we stopped! The food was delicious and the service was great! I was with a group of 7 and she was very patient and friendly!

Our waitress deserves credit for her patience and ability to handle a large group of people arriving at different times (without reservations) with aplomb.

My wife and I came down to Truth or Consequences for a romantic valentines weekend and to enjoy the famed hot springs. Our lodging experience was phenomenal ....but our dinning one was not. Today on our way out of town we had the misfortune of stopping for lunch at one of the most ill mannered, unorganized and unappetizing restaurants that... More

Go here hungry! They serve up large helpings! The service left a little to be desired, while we were there mid afternoon and very few other customers were there. We will still revisit!

I put it a to-go order to la cocina last week. Normally I find their food to be quite good, but this time was different. They got my order wrong first, which wasn't a huge deal. However, I had ordered combination supreme burritos. It was obvious that the portions were smaller because this was a t to go order, however... More

The combination burrito supremes you ordered come with tomatoes and lettuce inside and have since 1967 If you order the regular burrito it will not have tomatoes ..; or you can always order a supreme without salad on the inside. Cheers More

No big deal, even though the name says Hot Stuff. Will not return. The chimichanga was not recognizable and the red chile was floured and not tasty in the tostadas compuestas. The basis tacos were soggy. The waitress tried her very best and was very friendly. We left very unsatisfied and hungry as we travel on I-25 north.

We use straight Hatch chili pods and have never used any flour in our red chili. Cheers More

I have been in and out of T or C for 30 years. In fact, I owned a property near there and know the area, and the food, well. Which brings me to the point. The last time I went to this restaurant was twenty years ago. It was that bad. But people change, right? And restaurants can also change.... More

Ate better in my Tucson. Understaffed at a busy time of between Christmas and New Year. The place Sierra Grande recommended was closed for the holidays. Basic tummy filling
