I've lived in Colorado for over 20 years and I've come to the conclusion there is simply no decent Mexican food up here... until now! I had the chile rellenos and my wife had the enchiladas. If you're a Mexican restaurant and you can't even do that - the basics - then you shouldn't even bother. Well, Antonio's does do... More

Really nice atmosphere, prompt service and reasonably priced entrees. The best Mexican restaurant in Boulder county and beyond.

Great drinks and food with daily specials. The stuffed poblano pepper was outstanding. Small dining room with excellent service.

The food at Antonio's is very good. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff very friendly and efficient. The food is a step up from typical Mexican fare, good salsa and fresh chips!

We have been regular customers of Antonio's for the 11 years it has been open. So disappointed that it is closed. The owners, Sarah and Antonio Matus, opened an Antonio's in Longmont, Co last year and have now moved there permanently. We have lost a wonderful dining spot in Taos. Never had a bad meal there and the food was... More

I am a guacamole aficianado, and can say without any qualification that Antonio's has without doubt the BEST guacamole anywhere in the world. I have made my own, and tried many others, but there's some terrific mix of avocado, and tangy, fresh, flavor, that makes this one a "head and shoulders" standout above the rest. This is a nice place... More

We visited Antonio's while our vacations in Taos and the experience was very good! The food is authentic, well cooked, good presentation and great flavor. Everything our family ordered that day was tasty. Proof that Mexican food in New Mexico is as authentic and tasty as it gets! The service also was very attentive and the guy that took care... More

My fiance and I were looking for a place to eat after a long day of skiing. We ran across Antonio's as we were driving around Taos. It's in a pretty little setting with a courtyard and a good amount of public parking in front. We were seated immediately (without reservations). We ordered a pitcher of strawberry margaritas (not too... More

My husband and I weren't very impressed with the Taos plaza, and found ourselves drawn to this courtyard restaurant for a quick bite to eat. I was pleasantly surprised by the fresh guacamole, made right there by our table. You have to understand, they don't do that here in Seattle, and its hard to find a good guacamole. The black... More
