Wonderful and diverse menu, beautiful surroundings and friendly staff. I'd love to know when the Dragonfly Cafe Cookbook is arriving!

this cafe has closed at its mainstreet Taos location. It was unclear from a recent newspaper article if the owner planned to reopen at another site.

The food at the cafe was great. Unique menu items with a wonderful flavor. It is a small cafe, so be aware you may have to wait a little for a table if you arrive during a busy time. There is parking in the back of the restaurant

The hummus on the Gyro plate was most excellent, lamb will flavored and not the bready meatloaf that some places use as gyro meat. French beef stew was too lean and used too much mustard. But I am an excellent cook, so take my criticism with a grain of salt. It was still better than a lot of more expensive... More

Great place, wonderful food and the bakery items are outstanding - all freshly made each day. My favorite small restaurant in Taos.

The menu has something for everyone but don't expect the typical burger and fries. This menu is more healthful. Bison burger was done medium rare as I asked so it was juicy and flavorful. Husband had the gyros but it was more like a lamb plate. Both were good but not great. Shared a desert - chocolate covered croissant. Huge... More

We stopped at the Dragonfly Cafe for lunch and loved its charm and funky atmosphere. The menu had a Middle Eastern flair, but also featured interesting salads, vegetarian items, and Mexican dishes. In other words, something for everyone, just not your usual fare. They pride themselves on locally sourcing of items and everything was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. I wished... More

What a find. The curry chicken salad sandwich was delicious. Also check out the dessert case! An amazing variety of pastry. Service was not quick, but don't be in a hurry, enjoy the atmosphere and watch the folks. Sit outside if the weather permits.
