Having heard great reviews (those on TripAdvisor as well as from locals in Taos), we were excited to head out there for lunch today. Unfortunately, we arrived to find the space is totally empty. Don't have any idea what happened, but a local who was in the parking lot at the same time we were said it had been open... More

As hard to find as it is, this is a "neighborhood" place for me when I'm in Taos four months of the year. Once I noticed it last summer, I ate there at least twice a week, and I miss it terribly. Her curry and black bean soups, ahi sandwich, maki bowls, curry bowls and chicken curry sandwich are to... More

What an incredible meal! I had the ahi tuna sandwich -- probably the best I've ever eaten. I had a moment of sadness after the last bite. Everything from the bread to the wasabe alioli to the salmon itself -- perfection. Sheila was hustling here and there, cooking the food, taking orders, and running the register. Impressive, especially considering that... More

This is a terrific little restaurant on the far north side of Taos. A bit hard to find, as it is down a small hill on a dirt driveway from Highway 522. Menu is mostly sandwiches, salads, and rice bowls. My party of 5 tried something in every category and all were excellent. I would particularly recommend the ahi tuna... More

This is a fabulous little cafe. There is no advertising so a friend told me about it. So glad. Sheila has had a string of restaurants in town and when she gets the wanderlust, she closes down but fortunately, she always returns. My first experience with Sheila was a short-lived noodle house, then the Gypsy 360, Maverick, Hunter Tom's and... More

The only negative part of this review is that it took us so many months to finally eat here. We had the meat loaf sandwich, egg salad sandwich and the Miami sandwich. Very large portions, friendly service, and you can watch Sheila cook while you wait. They are only open 11-2, so don't go late. The cafe was filled with... More

When we were told to go north from the old blinking light, we thought it was a mistake. But when we bit into our sandwiches, we knew we'd gone to the right place! Somewhat reminds me of Sheila's "Gypsy 360" The dishes had character.

Sheila is just a great cook. That's the bottom line here. And since I always value a Taos Business that fills a need, Ricochet is both the farthest north place in town AND the best new eats as well. Note for late risers though, they close at two so get your butt in gear. I agree with jOanjr that Asian... More

Not sure if the title is correct but this is a gem of a restaurant in Taos. I had a pork, black bean and rice dish that was delicious! My husband had a tuna and rice dish with a citrus viniagrette that I know doesn't sound impressive but was lovely! The place is 1/4 mile North of the Old Blinking... More
