Best blue corn enchiladas in town.

Alley's is a nice place to get a bite to eat located right off the historical town square. It is said it has the best blue corn enchiladas in town, they are pretty good. But, I think they may be the only place in Taos that makes the Blue corn enchiladas. The staff is friendly and the service is... read more

My wife and I spent a long weekend in Taos, and unfortunately we didn't discover "The Alley" until our last day. It was by far the most enjoyable eating experience for us. Had we found it on Day One, we would have stopped by everyday. We initially stopped in for lunch, and enjoyed a very solid green chili cheeseburger and... More

We were visiting Taos for the day and ate lunch here by default when the two restaurants recommended to us were closed. We wandered into the Plaza and found this place. It is located in what is purported to be the oldest building in Taos. It has low ceiling with the wooden vigas. The rooms are small and the floors... More

Happy hour was longer than some of the other nearby restaurants. Loved the enchiladas, soups, and guacamole. Nice casual place to wind down. Never spent more than $50 for a relaxing evening. Each night had live music as well. We would ask a different shop owner each day for a recommendation for "local food" and this was always on the... More

Lots of history at the place... take the time to read about the establishment in the back of the menu! Clint Eastwood had a scene in the restaurant so look for that as well! There is a pool table and nightly music entertainment!

The Alley Cantina is located in, well, an alley in the old town square. It is a casual eatery with casual food and beer. There is a sand table shuffleboard game and pool tables for entertainment. I believe that it has live music at night as well. The bartenders that I have experienced there weren't the friendliest that I have... More

We went for New Years Eve when Katy P and The Business were playing. Great show, lots of locals and tourists enjoying the place. We did not eat there - but really enjoyed the bar/ band - and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes to hear live music in a cool, funky spot.

Stopped in for an appetizer and a drink after a day on the slopes. The food was good but mostly typical fried pub grub. The atmosphere was dark and dreary. Reminds me of an old bikers bar complete with pool table, old wooden bar and tables. Service was very good and prices were average. When they are open in the... More

I'm a little biased because in the old days, this place was "El Patio" and was owned by a family member. It's a great little scene with good food and typically good service. Great location!
