At at Orlandos on a Friday Night and a Saturday morning during my recent stay in Taos. Kind of off the main path but 5 minutes from the Plaza. Darn good New Mexican Fare in both meals, Hot, authentic and quick ticket time. And priced right. On the wall were many of the awards the place has won for best... more

A little bit off the beaten track, but worth the drive. It is a small restaurant, but very quaint with an outdoor seating area. Great Mexican food -- we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. And yes, you have to walk through the kitchen to get to the colorful bathroom. more

I recently had the shrimp burrito. My husband had the shrimp enchiladas. Both were delicious. The shrimp was tender and succulent and the green chili was perfect. Only downsides: the restaurant is a little cramped and you have to walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom. It's worth it, though. more

Enjoyed dinner and went back for lunch the next day. Excellent New Mexican menu, that doesn’t break the bank with a mix of locals and tourists. In door and out door seating. more

We ate dinner at Orlando's while in Taos last week and loved it. Since it was a weeknight there was no wait which was especially nice. The service was excellent, the food served hot and tasty and the beverages cold. We felt the price was good based on the amount and quality of food. more

We have been going to Orlando's since it opened. We continue to go there every single time we are in Taos, (and that is pretty often) We love the posole, we love the service, the frosty Corona's and the funky atmosphere. It is without a doubt my favorite Taos restaurant.... and it is still realonably priced. If you can, go... more

As with all restaurants in Taos, Orlando's had a long wait. They were nice enough to start a fire and offer free hot chocolate and water (the hot chocolate kind of tasted like water, but it was warm) which helped with the cold, 45 minute wait. For the high season, I would recommend that they rent a tent to keep... more

Went there just last week. I had the shrimp enchilada my husband had grilled shrimp and Chili Rellano. The shrimp "enchilada" was more of a burrito with a sticky flour tortilla...whole beans and lettuce and tomato inside. My husband's grilled shrimp were good but the chili rellano was TERRIBLE...the sauce was gritty and tasted like a bottle of chili powder... more

We went to Orlando's based on a friend's recommendation. We loved it. The food was terrific with a large selection to choose from. Very fresh...and a bit of spice. The restaurant is very small, bordering on cramped. Service was quick and friendly. We just beat the dinner crowd and had no wait but as we left, plenty of folks waiting... more
