I had the chili rellanos and chicken enchiladas, he had a meat omelet and home fries, both are wonderful and delicious. I ordered mine with red and green chili, guacamole and sour cream on the side it was flavorful but very hot in temperature, had to wait for it to cool to eat. At the bakery on the... read more

We had visited Michael s Kitchen on a Sunday morning. The restaurant was full however, there was only a short wait time. The food was great and the atmosphere was friendly.

We stopped there one day prior to a drive and the raisin buns were out of this world. So we had to leave early and decided to grab some baked goods and coffee before driving to ABQ based on prior experience. The raisin buns are awesome and huge. The donuts the same and get the blueberry muffins!

Took a spontaneous ride on the Harley and this was the first stop once in town. When we pulled up we both thought it was just a coffee shop but quickly saw that such was not the case. Yes, they have coffee and I hoped, internet but such was not the case at least as it pertains to internet service.... More

Stopped in here on the recommendation from our hotel clerk at the El Pueblo Lodge. Didn't have high expectations.... just wanted a simple meal at a decent price. Half of us ordered breakfast items and the other half ordered mexican-type entrees. Food was good, but I kind of agree with another reviewer on here about the french toast. One would... More

For a place to be a down home funky dinner, old style, it's my opinion that it should be cheap, I realize that they must be sitting on prime Taos property and either their rent is high or the taxes are. Maybe it's time to upgrade their kitchen, too greasy spoon, less than great service, pastries too sweet and gooey,... More

Folks come from all over to eat at our place, Miriahm, so it's a shame that you weren't impressed. That said, we think you must have caught us on an off day, and we hope we'll get a chance to show you a great breakfast next time you're in town. Til then, thanks for your honesty. I expected better. The cofee was weak. The french toast was like eating at Denny's, pretty bad for a "quality bakery". I expected way better and don't plan to come back

You should expect better, Nick, because what you described isn't like us at all. We take pride in serving homemade dishes with extra love, so we know we can do better than this. We'll look into it right away, but we hope to have another chance to wow you next time you're in our neck of the woods. Thanks for... More

My boyfriend and I came here for breakfast on our way back to Colorado after skiing at Taos Ski Valley. It was a Sunday morning around 9:30, not overly crowded and we were seated right away. Our waitress was very nice and greeted us cheerfully. I ordered the breakfast enchiladas, but due to a corn sensitivity, I asked for flour... More

It sounds like things took a turn when your server was a bit hesitant to ask about your substitution. We're sorry this wasn't handled in a more polite manner, but we're glad we were able to handle it for you. Still, we hope to have another chance to wow you in the future. Folks rave about us, so we know... More
