We've been going there for years as the food is excellent, served quickly, and your coffee mug never gets close to even half empty. If Toby is your server, even better, as he always has an interesting take on something.

Great food, service so so. There is also a bakery on the premises, the baked goods looked grand but we were already full. I would recommend this place to the people who enjoy breakfast any time of day

French toast, tortilla rellenada, poached egg, hash browns and gravy. Ate everything up and loved it! Service was fast and friendly. Bought a cinnamon roll for later and could not believe it was the size of a head!! Very delicious.

My family and I ate here for dinner during a one night stay in Taos. It seemed to be a family run restaurant, the service was friendly and the food very good, with both American and Spanish dishes on the menu. Would highly recommend for a good meal.

We had lunch at Michael's. As we were waiting in a long line for a table an unpleasant man pushed his way through the line, demanded a table for 4 from a waitress, and when she said she could seat him pushed his way through the line to lead his party that was outside the restaurant to the table. You get lots of food here. Pretty good typical texmex food. The highlight was the chili rellano....really good. Lunch includes sopapillas, which were tasty, but a bit heavier than I'm used to.

We have been going to Michael's Kitchen for several years, it's a mandatory breakfast stop on any vacation in the Taos area for us. Everything is fresh and cooked to order - the menu is huge and so are the portions. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. This isn't fancy, by any means, but it sure is... More

Every town has its "go to" breakfast joints. In Taos locals and travelers alike all converge on Michael's Kitchen. Located just north of the Plaza area on he main drag going up to the Taos Ski area Michael's serves up heaping amounts of good food. If you opt for a cinnamon roll, split it. Large, sweet, and gooey. Huevos Rancheros... More

Went in for breakfast. I had the breakfast enchilada, which was hot, well prepared and I had covered with red and green chile. Good. My problem was trying to eat it with a fork: the cheese and chile kept dripping down (ask for a bib next time?). Wife had biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were great, but the gravy was disappointing,...
