I enjoyed the excellent breakfast enchiladas - eggs with just the right amount of cheese and onion rolled into two corn tortillas and smothered with yummy pork green chile and cheese. I prefer my hash browns a little on the crispy side and these could have been cooked a little more. Still good, though. My husband had pancakes and link... More

You can't go wrong with green chile in the morning! Thanks for the love, Jan, and for the suggestion about our hash browns. We'll keep it in mind. :) Take care, The Crew at Michael's Kitchen More

Every time I've been in Taos during the last 20 years I've eaten breakfast at Michaels. It has never disappointed. The restaurant is always hopping. The cinnamon rolls are out of the world and authentic New Mexican food is essential to order. Don't mind a wait, it's worth it.

We've been to Taos twice and Michaels is definite stop for breakfast. Warm, friendly, easy on the wallet, friendly, good food and good location near the Kit Carson Park. We will return in April 2015 for more! Best place for breakfast, in our opinion, in all of Taos.

Don't go here for a quick breakfast if you're in a hurry. We waited about 20 minutes for a table and probably another 15 for service. That being said, this bustling 170 capacity restaurant is a 'people watchers' heaven and the chance is that the locals will chat to you as well while waiting so the time goes quickly. Yes... More

Sorry for the wait, Neil, but we're thrilled that you loved our dishes. We really appreciate that, and we also can't thank you enough for your suggestion about our prices. We'll keep that in mind, and we hope we'll get to have you back for more next time you're in Taos. Best, The Crew at Michael's Kitchen More

We have been traveling to Taos several times a year, for 12 years to get our boys to hockey tournaments. Hockey moms and dads, please listen because the folks at the rink will tell you to go to Michael's, but don't do it, take your business elsewhere, Michael's has really gone downhill. Consider going to Five Star Burgers or Guadalajara... More

It's really upsetting to hear how unimpressed you were. Enchiladas and pancakes are our mainstays, so knowing that we missed the mark is completely unacceptable. Feedback like yours is rare, so I'm afraid to say that you must have caught us on an off day. There's no excuse for that, but we hope to have a chance to make it... More

I believe the waiter who started to take our order was named Tobias, anyhow he was very rude from the onset. He told my wife to make up her mind, rolled his eyes at a side request, said to our friend come on guys, can you make up you minds, funny thing is everyone around us heard him, and when... More

We're really surprised to hear this, Kyle -- everyone on our team works hard to make sure our customers feel at home, so this is completely unlike us. We'll talk to Tobias, but we hope we'll have another chance to make this right for you. Until then, thanks for letting us know. Best, The Crew at Michael's Kitchen More

Michael's Kitchen was great! They served very large portions and we enjoyed the chips & salsa with the Mexican entrees. The guacamole and sopapillias were delicious. We bought some bakery items while we were there as well. The cream puffs were a work of art! I'd definitely go back!

Michael's is across the street from the Wyndham resort where we stayed so we walked there every day for breakfast. There were 7 of us so as a group we sampled almost the whole breakfast menu. Most everything was very good. The huge portions kept us full in the afternoon so we only needed 2 meals a day after filling... More

Wow, Laura! Thank you! So happy to hear that everyone in your group loved our breakfast, but we wish you were happier with the green sauce. We'll keep that in mind, though, and we hope we'll get to have you back for more very soon! Best, The Crew at Michael's Kitchen More
