Solid American Chinese nothing exceptional.

I like the hot and Sour soup and the eggplant and chicken in garlic sauce. The shrimp in black bean sauce is average. They have Peking duck available without having to order in advance.

This restaurant is not fancy at all, very average looking when you go into it. But bustling with activity and customers. And the reasons are - the service was excellent, the food was delicious and the prices very very reasonable. It was surprising to find good Chinese food here, we didn't expect it in the Southwest... living in Seattle, we... More

I came here with my vegetarian friend. We ordered the hot and sour soup. Afterward I had a splitting headache and I knew it was because they used MSG in their food. Glad I didn't order anything else from here. Very skeptical about the quality of the food.

Beware ! I ordered a dish with lamb. I don't know what it was, but it certainly wasn't lamb: pieces of connective tissue, fat, some meat, most probably pork. Instead of ordered pinot noir I was served something dreadful. My objections were dismissed.

I only ate at Hunan once, and that was enough. The sesame chicken I ordered was terrible. It was somewhat soggy and very bland. The rice wasn't very good either. I figure that if they can't get sesame chicken and plain white rice right, then the rest of their food probably isn't very good either. I would recommend going pretty... More

Average, not bad. Lots of food, but like everywhere else. In taos, I was looking for something a bit more unique.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, quantity, and price from this place. And the service was great too. I could hardly eat all of the Kung Pao Scallops and it is one of my favorites.
