Solid American Chinese nothing exceptional.

I like the hot and Sour soup and the eggplant and chicken in garlic sauce. The shrimp in black bean sauce is average. They have Peking duck available without having to order in advance.

I ordered mu shu vegetables that was out of this world delicious and packed with fresh vegetables of a good variety and the plum sauce was terrific! Also ordered sweet and sour chicken that was made fresh and the sauce was plentiful and just right sweet. Also ordered vegetable fried rice that comes in a standard size that fed me... More

The food tastes were not normal and I believe people can understand the reason. Customer service was poor. I gave the money to the waitress and their question was...do you need change. I said yes. I think waitress misunderstood me (thought I'm not going to give the tip...lol) and she went to the counter with money and came back and... More

In a town surrounded by Mexican restaurants and burger joints, I was surprised to find such a great Chinese restaurant. Hunan has the "classics" - chow mein, sweet and sour, egg rolls, etc. But they also offer spicier fare, true to their namesake, Hunan Province in China. We had Hunan Chicken (excellent, we went for mild spice), a spicy vegetable... More

This restaurant is not fancy at all, very average looking when you go into it. But bustling with activity and customers. And the reasons are - the service was excellent, the food was delicious and the prices very very reasonable. It was surprising to find good Chinese food here, we didn't expect it in the Southwest... living in Seattle, we... More

I came here with my vegetarian friend. We ordered the hot and sour soup. Afterward I had a splitting headache and I knew it was because they used MSG in their food. Glad I didn't order anything else from here. Very skeptical about the quality of the food.

Beware ! I ordered a dish with lamb. I don't know what it was, but it certainly wasn't lamb: pieces of connective tissue, fat, some meat, most probably pork. Instead of ordered pinot noir I was served something dreadful. My objections were dismissed.

I only ate at Hunan once, and that was enough. The sesame chicken I ordered was terrible. It was somewhat soggy and very bland. The rice wasn't very good either. I figure that if they can't get sesame chicken and plain white rice right, then the rest of their food probably isn't very good either. I would recommend going pretty... More
