Very casual, locals' place, felt off the beaten path, but really just half a block or so from the plaza. Ordered their specialty, a vegetarian green chili stew. Delicious! Waitress brought samples of their own beer; had to try the green chile beer; while I ordered a more pedestrian brew, it was great fun to try (& definitely drinkable)!

Tiny lottle brew pub, with good outdoor seating (and it's own parking lot!). Sits back quite a bit from the highway (look behind the bike shop on the corner). Beers we ok, too, Better than average, but not great. The cook had time on his hands, apparently, so talked to us a lot...he was great to talk to.

We stopped here for a quick drink and an appetizer before heading out to stroll among the galleries in Taos. The place is a little hole in the wall, a local favorite, from what we could tell. The service was a little slow, but then, we are New Yorkers, used to tables turning over faster. The beer was very good,... More

We always seek out brew pubs when in the US so were delighted to find our B&B was right next door to this one. Eske's is great. As soon as we walked through the door we felt welcome and all the staff were very friendly. There is an interesting range of beers available - as we were in Taos for... More

Eske's was a nice place to stop for a quick beer. They didn't have a ton of choices but what we tried was good.

The title says it all. Food was good and the service was friendly and quick. I don't drink beer anymore so my visit was filled with temptation. However, just by looking around the outdoor setting, the other patrons seemed to be enjoying their suds very much.5

Truly, we wonder why Eske's has been here so long. However, now that there is another brew pub (Taos Mesa) around that has better beer, food and service, I don't know if this one will last that much longer. We had ordered and received one beer, then 10 minutes later the second beer. And neither one was good. Wanted to... More

I was visiting with a friend that knew the Taos scene so we ended up at Eske's . We grabbed a table outside and were greeted in no time by a friendly server which delivered our pitcher right away . That evening there was a band and the place was lively . For dinner I ordered " Wanda's Stew "... More

The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the beer. The green chile burrito was awesome. The only disappointment was that there entertainer didn't show up.

We had read other ratings on trip advisor and were terribly disappointed by both the service and the food. After waiting over an hour for our food, instead of apologizing, our waitress told us to "look around it's very crowded". When the food arrived 15 minutes later, the bratwurst cooked in beer was anemic looking and without much flavor, and... More
