Good food and beer in a cozy location

We stopped at Eske's for lunch and a couple beers and were pleased on both counts. The food is tasty and good if unremarkable and we enjoyed several of the in-house beers between us, finding them all good. The little house is cozy and the staff was attentive and interactive, so our visit was fun... read more

We visited the other evening and received a cold welcome upon walking in the front door. When you walk in the, you find yourself in front of the bar. No one greeted us, so we patiently waited for the bartender to finish his conversation with the patron sitting at the bar. After a few minutes of being ignored, we asked... More

This place is great! We love breweries and we both liked the beer here. We usually drink IPA's and Pale Ale's. Those were both good here- a little on the sweet/Belgian-ish side. The Green Chile beer is a must for the adventurous beer drinker- it had a wonderful smell of green chiles and a nice kick to it. We had... More

For a place that prides itself on its beer we could not find a single one that was palatable, and we tried six, The staff was very cordial very friendly atmosphere was a tad earthy crunchy and the patrons kind of scared me, but for us who pride ourselves on our beer love, could not find a single beer out... Enjoyed a burger and a couple of their beers (Blonde and a Rye). Both beers were good as was the burger. Had fun sampling the green chile beer too. Small but friendly spot.

Tried Eske's in January and we had to return for the Green Chile Stew. My husband had without ground turkey and I had it with...both were excellent. Fresh green salad on the side with IPA's. As good as we remember. The location is hard to find, but they have parking. Outdoor seating was available but still too cool for us.... More

We ate dinner here tonight. The menu was limited but the food was quite good. I recommend the green chile stew. It was very tasty; I just wish they would've shared the recipe since I don't think I will be returning to Taos in the near future. The beer was terrific. I encourage you to try any of them.

I had the Mediterranean salad. My son had the green chili. We both really liked our meal. The beer was good too. Service was pretty good

I loved the atmosphere and the staff were really nice. We got lucky and there were some local folks playing wonderful Celtic music. I hate to say it, but I did not enjoy their IPA: it tasted more like a wheat beer and wasn't hoppy or bold whatsoever. At a steep $5 a pint it was a disappointment. I honestly... More
