This place is a small local place. You can expect a lot of locals hanging out there having some burgers or vegan menu choices. However a great surprise was its selection of local brews. They offers beer flight which they are not stingy with. The burger I ordered was hot and came with home made mayo. Do not be fooled... More

Eske's website mistakenly indicated that they were open on a Sunday at 10am when in reality it should have said 12pm. We arrived at 1030-45am and the owners opened up for us. Then we were treated to a most delicious portobello mushroom burger. I can't remember all the ingredients or the sauce but it was delicious. Enjoyed a flight of... More

Great view and great service. Green Chile Beer was a first for me but very tasty. Very comfortable atmosphere.

While visiting Taos we were looking for a local Brew Pub...and this place came up on our Brewery Passport app. A little hard to find, tucked in behind a parking lot in a old pueblo building. Small, few tables and we sat at the bar. Ordered IPA and green chile stew....it was terrific on this cold day. Good pub menu... More

As a home brewer, I'm always on the look out for really good, local brews. New Mexico is a haven for fine beers, but finding brew made locally...REALLY locally is a treat. Eske's has been making magic out of grains for a long time and they're still doing it right. No need for reservations, no jacket required. Sit outside if... More

Drove from Minnesota, first time in Taos. Found Eske's and found our new hang out spot. Family of six, all grown kids, everyone enjoyed the beer and food and service. Would go back in a heart beat.

There was a great band of locals playing banjos, guitars, violins and singing bluegrass. The popcorn shrimp tacos were wonderful. I highly recommend the green chile beer.

Stopped in for a brew and a quick bite. Server suggested an Ale and the Green Chili Stew and was spot on! Beer was a good micro brew and the green chili stew was fantastic. I shy away from green chili because of the heat, but this was different. So flavorful, ate the whole bowl and didn't regret it in... More

Eske's is a family tradition. The food is good, the menu unchanging, the green chile beer a staple. When we visited, musicians provided live music and it was exceptionally good local stuff. I light up at the thought of going to this place where my family has spent so many happy hours.

Very casual, locals' place, felt off the beaten path, but really just half a block or so from the plaza. Ordered their specialty, a vegetarian green chili stew. Delicious! Waitress brought samples of their own beer; had to try the green chile beer; while I ordered a more pedestrian brew, it was great fun to try (& definitely drinkable)!
