And to check out the dinner menu as a possibility for that evening. They barely passed my margarita test and the house wine for happy hour was certainly nothing special. Nice small lounge area off the bar with some comfortable seating. The restaurant dining area on the main level was attractive. We just didn't find anything on the dinner menu... More

Lambert's service, menu, wines and atmosphere were all top notch for us. We had wild mushroom risotto(superb) and banana wrapped tamales with black beans, calabacita and a red chile sauce and cojita, with corn/greens/carrots medley, also wonderful. Extensive selection of wines by the glass was also a real pleaser, allowing us to match without having too much! Loved this restaurant.... More

During a ski trip we decided to try Lamberts. The dining room is nice an quiet, with elegant touches. The menu is small but has sime some excellent and creative options. The fusion style tamale was excellent, and the wine list had a good selection of both domestic and international selections.

We love all sorts of restaurants and cuisines. Earlier in the day, we had gone to a wine tasting shop, and the woman doing the tastings recommended Lambert's. We walked down to check it out and made a reservation with the very nice hostess to come back later for dinner. When we arrived we were seated at a nice corner... More

Best food. Best service. Best experience. Try the cinnamon bun bread pudding or the lobster grilled cheese! The green chile stew and burgers were great, too.

We has a lovely lunch here on the little plaza. I think the name of this place has changed not too long ago. We remembered eating there in the past, but they have changed the lighting which is lovely. The wait staff was very quick to be of service. Lovely wines by the glass. The ceasar was fresh made dressing... More

Lambert's has always been a go-to restaurant for a romantic evening or a special occasion, but since they moved into the old Apple Tree building, you can go for a wonderful and affordable lunch or happy hour, too! I would highly recommend any choice as they really have the experience to present a delightful meal, and they have the best... More

I'm so glad we ate here! It was just terrific in every way. The waiter from Holland was superb and made perfect recommendations. The ambience is lovely also. The beet salad was delicious and big enough to share. Then we followed with the special which was salmon with a light vodka tomato sauce, not overpowering the fish. The vegetables were... More

We've always liked Lamberts for great service and the chef's choices. Now we can add to the experience the fine old building on Bent Street in Taos that Appletree used to occupy. We had the whole family and a new baby. Service was great and everyone enjoyed themselves.
