These little chocolate shops are in just about any major mall, but they do make a nice product. When in the southwest, look specifically for a Southwest or New Mexico Hot Chocolate! Nice blend of spices make it so nice, especially in the colder weather.

They have a very wide variety of snacks, with many options. We chose the Ancho Chile Trouffles, and Dark Chocolate Peanut clusters. Must try this if you are in Taos!

A nice place to stop and rest on a bench occupied with a bear! The aromas of the chocolate waft out into the street!

What is there not to love about a place that dresses up chocolate in so many different flavors and accents. You must try the non-traditional favorites made with authentic New Mexican Chiles! Not cheap but worth it at any price!

Nice guy working there. Good ice cream. Good selection of chocolate and other treats/ gifts. Located in the plaza. Probably the best store in the plaza which doesn't say much.

If you're in need of a sweet treat, this is a great place to satisfy that need. Conveniently located on the plaza, RMCF has something to satisfy all types of sugar addictions; ice cream, a vast array of candied apples, gummies, and of course chocolate-white chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, chocolate covered everything......

We vacationed in beautiful Taos for 5 days to ring-in the New Year. Three out of the five days we ate at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. The chocolate is fresh. All three days we had chocolate and caramel-dipped apples; absolutely delectable. The staff was very friendly and courteous. If you plan on visiting Taos, try some chocolate and apples at... More
