The food and service were very good. Especially the Chili Rellenos. We just stopped there on a whim, and were happy with the service and food.

While we had delicious New Mexican dishes (steak fajitas were especially tasty), it took awhile before anyone came to take our drink & appetizer order. And when they did, they forgot the guacamole we had ordered. I don't know if the waiter was new but he seemed nervous and mixed up a few things. But the food was so good... More

We had a great dinner, but didn't enjoy the New Mexico wine. The combination plate was a great choice and extremely tasty. The service was excellent and the waiter was very attentive.

Nice little restaurant. Was clean and the service was good. The food was good but the beans and rice didn't have much flavor. Would not recommend the margaritas. Overall a very good experience.

Great food and the staff is great. We dined there on three evenings because it was so good. The dining areas were pleasant and not noisy.

The wait staff could not be more personable and the food is outstanding. However, if you have kids with your group or an impatient adult, the service here is very very slow. BBQ rips are very good, the brisket is moist from the braising, but loses some of the smoke. The chicken breast is DRY. The hot BBQ sauce is... More

This was our fourth trip to Taos and the last restaurant we tried. Big mistake! We had one of the finest Mexican dinners I have had since leaving San Diego 25 years ago. The service was great, the margaritas were great, the salsa was great as were the free chips. Heck, the owner even came out and greeted us. Wonderful... More

We ate a lot of food on our vacation this Summer and this was my favorite. The New Mexican dishes were outstanding! The portions were good as well as the prices, but what I remember most is the taste. It would be worth driving there again to eat (from Tennessee).

While we have always loved Pete's restaurant for the wonderful Northern NM chili dishes, we recently opted to try the Bar-B-Q ribs.... they literally fell off the bone and the sauce was as good as they come!
