The coffee shop is very small. Some tables quite large. The time I was there, I stood up, nobody invited me to sit. I finally asked a solo woman sitting at a four top by herself. She said that she was waiting for someone. She left shortly after with her laptop in tow. The coffee was mediocre and expensive. The... More

We had great cup of coffee on Saturday but when we returned on Sunday they were closed. They offer a locally roasted coffee. It is super clean with a really cool door.

They serve really delicious coffee in a charming atmosphere, and their pastry selection is tasty and immense. And, if you don't have time to just sit and enjoy the comfy seating, they are also one of the few drive-through coffee opportunities in Taos! The baristas are fast and efficient and they seem to make the coffee perfectly every time. My... More

Loved this coffee house owned by a wonderful lady. The interior was so lovely and perfect to enjoy a wonderful latte, abundant reading material, and this out of world burritos!

Taos Java has to have the best coffee in the country. Everything is beautifully blended. Organic. The food. Pastries. All are superb. Cant even describe the deliciousness. Worth rolling out of bed half asleep and getting there at once. Surprised not to see people in their pajamas sitting in the cozy little cafe, reading one of the newspapers, magazines, or other... Start your day with Ohori's brew and a smile and perhaps a dog bone at the drive through. There is no better coffee in Taos, though the "cool" crowd hangs out insouciantly at other joints. Have noticed this is an everybody knows your name place. Ohori's is roasted by a Peet's trained roaster before the Starbucks people split off. It... More

I was in the neighborhood this morning, so I decided to eat breakfast and hang out at Taos Java. I'm reminded why I like this place. The staff is super friendly and helpful. When my hands were too full to carry everything back to my table, the woman working the counter carried my cup of ice for me. I didn't... More

Like the title says, very expensive coffee, hidden fees for heavy cream, half and half, nickel and dimed every step of the way in that establishment, and the coffee dosnt taste good either, I won't be returning until I hear of better reviews and I have a better experience with the coffee and service in that place

We ended up at Taos Java because it was the only place open before 6am. The sign on their door said they opened at 6, their website said they opened at 5:30, and the Taos Dining Guide said they opened at 5:45. Regardless, their doors were open around 5:50 in the morning when we were trying to get an early... More
