We ordered Chicken sate, dumplings, Tom Ka soup with steamed tofu, Panang curry with chicken and extra broccoli. All was delicious. I prefer my curry with a bit thicker, the sauce was a bit light, but still very flavorful. Our 6 and 11 year old children also loved it. AS a gauge, level 3 spiciness which is what we ordered... I hate reviewing a place negatively but unfortunately Dara Thai needs some help. The appetizer rolls were great but the cook was way too heavy with the fish sauce on the Pad Thai. We waited for some time for our meal which isn't unexpected when we order Thai but then to have it taste so strong of the fish sauce... More

We come to Taos often and have explored just about every restuarant there is and finally came to this one just a few monthes ago. We fell in love with it instantly. The atmosphere is the only downside. It's a small little spot that seats about 30 people and could use some touch ups. But the food is just amazing!... More

We shared the sampler- the chicken satay was delicious. My husband had the pad thai, and I had the green curry. Both were delicious and filling. If you are sensitive to spicy hot, specify! I asked for medium, and it was challenging, but so good.

We don't eat Thai often but we thought the food was good and fresh. Only one person in kitchen so food came out slower than optimal but waitress was attentive.. All in all, a good experience.

We went Christmas day, owing to the lack of breakfast places open. I don't think they had been overrun by clientele before. I felt sorry for the beleagered waitress and handed out menus for a few minutes. The food is decent thai food. And the patrons were running 85% asian when we went. So you white people, get out there... More

Waitress can't speak English very well. She sat around reading a book while we waiting in the empty Restruant for 20min for our red curry entree. Food came out cold because she didn't check on it. Food was poor. Non of the wonderful spices that Thai food normally is made with. Overall a very disappointing experience that I hope to... More

We got take out at this spot south of the Plaza. Generous portion of good chicken tom yum soup but pad thai was very dry and overcooked, one of worst I ever had. Both meals were about $10 each. Would not recommend.
