Great night out, fun place

After our hike to Williams Lake, some folks on the trail told us about the great Happy Hour prices and that it would be fine to stop by in our hiking clothes as it is a casual bar. It was fun to see the On Air sign in the radio station booth. And we had a great view of Taos... More

This is the only totally solar-powered radio station...with its own bar and restaurant. In fact, the glassed-in (and one would assume soundproof) broadcast booth is in the restaurant/bar area. The show is broadcast into the room, with the big screen TVs on mute. There is an outside eating and volleyball area, too, but it was a bit too windy to... More

We were here with some friends for a show. Its cool that you can see where they are on the radio from the bar. I had their pork tacos and they were delicious!!!! My husband had a Philly cheese steak and he said it was the best one he's had!! Would definitely go back if in Taos again!!

We stopped at the bar at KTAO after a long drive. It's in a great location, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. Our appetiser was fine. The sodas tasted fine. Our cheeseburgers with green hatch chili were delicious. The radio station booth is behind glass right in the dining area.

We stopped on our way back from skiing. Perfect! Beer $3. Burger for $5. Great scenery and you get to listen to great music being played. Friendly staff. A must stop.

The Solar Center is a unique destination. Whether you are seeking a spot for a relaxing Happy Hour, a spectacular show or a bite to eat, this is the place. The food is simple but plentiful, but the shows cannot be beat. In the past year, we have seen Brett Dennen and Eric Hutchinsen there, much to our delight. And... More

Understand what you are getting before you go and you will not be disappointed. This is a bar with sport on the TV's, with great sernic with a variety of appatizers, a list of half pound burgers, and an adequate list of other options that should satisfy all. I had a Cobb Salad and had more than I could eat.... More

I have eaten at the KTAO Station Bar several times and typically have a great experience. This experience was not so great. My friend and I went here to get a bite to eat and check something on the internet around 7pm on Labor Day evening. (We really just wanted to use the internet, but we were hungry and thought... They make a very nice margarita, the muchies are excellent and you just can't beat the view from the window seats or the patio. They have an extensive list of beers as well. How cool is it to have a bar in a radio station? Very!
