Great date night

We were here off-season and in the middle of the week, so there weren't many people in the cantina. That said, our food was excellent as was the service (even though the bartender was also our waiter) and the view of the mountains at sunset was spectacular.

Excellent central Mexican (Oacaxan) food in a tiny restaurant with friendly staff and great prices. They even took pictures of us all with our cameras. Fun.

I highly recommend the green chile margaritas! The crowd is a little younger than I'm comfortable with, but nice people and, again, the green chile margaritas! Yum!

We made a point of finding this place because of reviews that said it was a friendly place where locals hung out. Walked in at 2 pm on Saturday and the place was empty. I mean empty, as in us and the bartender. Very uncomfortable, so we turned around and went next door to The Gorge. Much better. Not sure... More

El Camino Cantina is more of a night time bar/lounge as opposed to a lunch spot and thus our hours are much later then most other places in town. We open at 4pm on weekdays and 1pm on weekends, which would explain why it was so quiet when you stopped in at 2pm. The fact that we open later however,... More

We stopped in for beers. The staff & bartender made sure we had a great time. Try the pineapple drink....it's strong!

If you are looking for a full menu probably not the best place. However, they have cheap bar food that is great. This is great place to grab a beer, and some good tacos. The service we received was great and will visit again.
