The is a new restaurant which replaced Ogilivie's right on the Plaza in Taos. It is a casual restaurant, with a mune that reflect it's SM location, though is by no means "Mexican" completely. WE had a combinations of startes and salads, all of which are excellent; The Bison Sliders were supurb. The balcony overlooking the Plaza is a wonderful place to watch the activity in the Plaza - the only outdoor eating on the Plaza. They have a full bar, and excellent staff who are all very jazzed about being part of this new venture. It is a definite place for a simple but interesting meal.

We actually ate here twice on our visit to Taos. Lunch - first day here, we ate on the patio, was a great day for that. Our server seemed lost, there were several people on the patio - at least 12 tables sat with 2 to 7 at each table. The gal that helped us only had a couple of... More

Arrived about 1:00, had about a 5 minute wait and then we chose to eat outside on the patio, beautiful day, overlooking the plaza, couldn't be better! Our waiter Zac? was polite and very professional, took our drink orders and gave us time to look over the menu. My wife got the chicken tacos and I got the fish and... More

I think our waitress was a bit overwhelmed when we sat down in her section, so the service was a little slow. However our lunch was tasty and we enjoyed sitting on the outdoor patio overlooking the plaza. The place was pleasantly busy and not too expensive.

We dropped in for a light lunch to take a break from browsing the may shops in Taos, and just ordered some apps. I ordered the Ultimate Bison Sliders, and they were quite good. We also had the fried green beans, and they were not greasy at all. I don't remember what else we had, but I do remember it... More

We have eaten at The Gorge several times and it is one of our favorite places to stop when we come to Taos. The food is very consistent and always very good, the rock shrimp is one of my favorites to start with.

I was expecting more than what I got (quality-wise), burger that I ordered was nothing especial (I have had better one in Taos), the atmosphere was good, packed with people, all kinds of screens going, it was a bit pricey for what I got but I understand (location is prime), It was a good one time experience kind of visit.

This is a must place to go to. My fiance and I went twice while in Toas in March and we always return when we visit NM. The food is good--but we like the meals we get at places that are not bars, too, better--like the smaller joints up and down the main street. But, I like the TVs to... More

The Gorge is located in the Taos Plaza. We dined while passing through Taos and were seated right away. We skipped appetizers and ordered the veggie burger and Mountain Fish sandwich with sweet potato and traditional fries. Both sandwiches were good and served quickly. Nice spot in a good location.
