Description: The is a new restaurant which replaced Ogilivie's right on the Plaza in Taos. It is a casual restaurant, with a mune that reflect it's SM location, though is by no means "Mexican" completely. WE had a combinations of startes and salads, all of which are excellent; The Bison Sliders were supurb. The balcony overlooking the Plaza is a wonderful place to watch the activity in the Plaza - the only outdoor eating on the Plaza. They have a full bar, and excellent staff who are all very jazzed about being part of this new venture. It is a definite place for a simple but interesting meal.

We were greeted quickly by the hostess and asked if we preferred inside or on the patio overlooking the square. We choose inside since the sun was setting which blasted the patio....The waiter was pleasant and took our drink order quickly.... he also made sure my water glass was kept full since he could appreciate we were dehydrated after a... Taos is certainly not known as a gourmet location as it seems that most of the visitors of burger-eaters not really fond of eclectic cuisine. Burgers abound in Taos and Gorges is no exception, however it has a nice atmosphere, good beers and location. We didn't eat when seeing that pretty much all patrons were downing huge burgers which from... More

Clearly a professionally managed place. We were seated immediately and served like lightning. Food was good, hot and tasty - nothing fancy, but quite good for what it was. Prices were totally reasonable and the location was outstanding. Great place.

This restaurant/bar is located on the corner of the plaza. Nice view of the plaza. Good variety on the menu with delicious burgers and sandwiches. Broad beverage selection, especially beers. We had a group of 9. We did make a reservation and were promptly seated and our server took very good care of us. Would certainly go there again.

The view on the patio is the best part of the Gorge Bar and Grill. I ordered the margarita chicken tacos and found them and the accompanying black beans bland. My 13-month-old son couldn't get enough of the beans, though. The service was a little slow, but the view across the Plaza is incredible, especially during sunset. I'd advise just... More

The Green Chili Burger was tasty and delicious. The Key Lime Pie was excellent. A great place to eat in the Taos Square with a beautiful patio.

The Gorge Bar and Grill is centrally located on the east side of theTaos Plaza smack dab in the middle of Taos, NM. Wait the extra time to snag a table on the balcony which overlooks the entire Plaza. The bar area is vibrant and offers a good selection of specialty cocktails, margheritas, and local craft beers. The food is... More

Service was excellent, very nice place, a travelling opera company happened to be dining there while I was there. They gave an impromptu concert.

Thanks to the best bartender and best manager, everytime we go there we are treated like royalty. The bartender (K) makes the best drinks and always has a great attitude and sense of humor, the manager (L) takes time outbid his busy schedule to chat and make us feel comfortable, also keep offering the splurge deals, they are great.
