Description: The is a new restaurant which replaced Ogilivie's right on the Plaza in Taos. It is a casual restaurant, with a mune that reflect it's SM location, though is by no means "Mexican" completely. WE had a combinations of startes and salads, all of which are excellent; The Bison Sliders were supurb. The balcony overlooking the Plaza is a wonderful place to watch the activity in the Plaza - the only outdoor eating on the Plaza. They have a full bar, and excellent staff who are all very jazzed about being part of this new venture. It is a definite place for a simple but interesting meal.

We went for a simple late lunch and in fairness we only had one course each and nothing alcoholic to drink. My enchiladas were very good and the chicken and lime tacos nicely presented. We sat outside in the shade and looked over the Plaza. It was pleasant but unremarkable.

The burgers and sweet potato fries were excellent. We also had nachos... Big and good. View of Taos Plaza was fun. Definitely will go back.

Gorge's is located in Taos Plaza on the south side and up one flight of stairs. Fortunately the restaurant was not typically crowded, so we were seated, waited on and served right away. We just had a light supper with drinks and beer. I had the mountain fish sandwich and my companion had the spicy green chili sirloin stew. Both... More

We found this restaurant through the desk clerk at our hotel. We enjoyed the outdoor seating on their second story patio. The food was very tasty and prepared to our liking. The Budweiser must have been very fresh because it was exceptional. :-) The service was exceptional. A very nice dining experience. I don't know why it is ranked the... More

Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy, a quote by Benjamin Franklin? Yep that's what The Gorge says! We even bought T-shirts from the Gorge Bar and Grill! The manager ( sorry to many Beers to remember his name) was fantastic, Anthony my server was wonderful and the 12 oz rib eye was wonderful!... More

Wonderful lunch! Service was great and the food was excellent. Green chili stew was very good, as were the burgers and soup. Best seasoned fries i've had in a long time! They have a fantastic selection of beers.

I liked this place very much. There is a fine terrace overlooking Toas' main plaza where the food is served by professional waiters, not just kids, the tables are kept clean, and the food is hot, ample, and delicious, and the bar service excellent.

Even at 2 p.m. lots of traffic in this place due to the lack of good lunch restaurants that are reasonably priced

and fish tacos, too. Patio overlooks the plaza. Our waiter was friendly and let us have several tastes of local beers before deciding on one! This was one of the busier restaurants the night we were here and we enjoyed the atmosphere of eating on the plaza!

This a nice bar and grille on the Plaza in Taos. It is upstairs and if you chose to sit outside the view of the Plaza is great. Service was very good and the place was busy. Food was good and the portions were large. Maybe too large for an old guy but what the heck. The atmosphere inside is... More
