Description: The is a new restaurant which replaced Ogilivie's right on the Plaza in Taos. It is a casual restaurant, with a mune that reflect it's SM location, though is by no means "Mexican" completely. WE had a combinations of startes and salads, all of which are excellent; The Bison Sliders were supurb. The balcony overlooking the Plaza is a wonderful place to watch the activity in the Plaza - the only outdoor eating on the Plaza. They have a full bar, and excellent staff who are all very jazzed about being part of this new venture. It is a definite place for a simple but interesting meal.

I don't understand other reviews. We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we ate there both nights we were in town. Staff was attentive without being a bother. For a nice restaurant price was not expensive. Love the ambiance. Sat be the fire and enjoyed a very pleasant evening.

Great service - Zach was a treat - food was very good - just the right temperature & amount - the only drawback was the inability of the staff to keep up with the customers - they were very gracious & would stop by & give an update on our orders (& that was appreciated).

The Gorge Bar and Grill is on the second floor of an old building on the eastern side of the Taos Plaza, and they have an outside patio overlooking the Plaza. One of us ordered something they advertised at the entrance, and when the server said that they no were longer serving it, she gave us a substitute at no... More

This is a good restaurant overlooking the plaza in the centre of town. There are indoor and outdoor balcony tables. We had ribs and they were really good. The service was friendly and quick. Thee is a bar inside and you can get great cocktails and different varieties of margheritas. The blood orange one was nice and pretty potent. A... More

My boyfriend and I went here for lunch the other day, and had a nice experience. The service was good, as was the food. He had the Reuben and I had the green chile cheese melt. Both were delicious. The only negative comment is the fact that our food and beer took longer than expected to be delivered to our... More

Love the fried green beans! Patio is nice to sit out on in the summer overlooking the Plaza. Anthony is my favorite waiter and is always a pleasure.

Excellent burgers for lunch. I had the 'gorgeous' burger(9.95), which was a decent size and cooked how I like, with a side of the apple cider slaw.

We were looking for a mid-afternoon snack and choose Gorge based on the location and outside appearance. Inside the building you go up a set of stairs to the pleasing, spacious restaurant. We weren't too hungry so we ordered off the appetizer menu, one each buffalo wings and BBQ sliders. The food was generous, tasty and spicy. It filled us... More

Awesome Gran Marnier Margarita's and "Moose Drool" Brown Ale (Montana) to end a beautiful Art Crawl day! We paired our beverages with Hawaiian Ono grilled tacos and a huge serving of Chicken nachos - too much for two big guys to knock out! Our waiter was Clay. He was very attentive, friendly and always greeted is with a smile. Kept... More

We had dinner at Gorge Bar and Grill on a Thursday evening in mid-October. We were looking for something casual, quick and tasty (after traveling all day) - and found it! Service was friendly, fast, and professional (thanks, Wayne). It was not a busy time. I had the veggie burger with sweet potato fries and my husband had chicken enchiladas.... More
