The is a new restaurant which replaced Ogilivie's right on the Plaza in Taos. It is a casual restaurant, with a mune that reflect it's SM location, though is by no means "Mexican" completely. WE had a combinations of startes and salads, all of which are excellent; The Bison Sliders were supurb. The balcony overlooking the Plaza is a wonderful place to watch the activity in the Plaza - the only outdoor eating on the Plaza. They have a full bar, and excellent staff who are all very jazzed about being part of this new venture. It is a definite place for a simple but interesting meal.

Stopped in a this place by chance in order to stay dry during a downpour while taking a walk near Taos plaza. This place looks like any other generic bar/grille (TGI Fridays; Applebee's), so I wasn't expecting a unique experience. Had a beer and some nachos with my friend. The beer selection is okay, about 5-10 draft beers, and the... More

My wife and I went here for dinner and were not impressed. We were seated pretty quickly on a busy night but after that things went downhill. We ordered drinks once the waitress came by, but it took a while to get our food order in. We watched several tables around us get seated and served before our food came... More

The Gorge, which overlooks the Taos plaza, is a warm, comfortable restaurant with a varied menu and a wide range of marguerite choices. Their fish and chips were excellent and the service was efficient. A good place to kick back and relax.

Best pork ever! Notwithstanding we arrived 10 minutes before the kitchen closed, we were pleasantly treated to outstanding carne adovado and chicken enciladas. Now two visits and two great meals.

Right on the plaza, we meet every Monday in the private dining room. The Reuben was very good, if a bit non-traditional. The Cobb salad was large, but shy of protein. Dressing was good, though, and I ate it all. Others praise their soups.

We have eaten at the Gorge Bar and Grill many times in the past, but not in the past eight months. our visit last night was very average overall. Service was a little disappointing. My chicken tacos were pretty greasy & the meat was all dark meat. The green salad was nice & fresh looking & crunchy. My husband ordered... More

We shared a Green Goddess salad and Carne Adovada Plate. The food was amazing and so was the service!

That about sums it up. There is a a nice balcony with a lovely view, and this is a great place to watch the world go by with a cold drink in your hand. I'd be more than happy to go back.
