nice place good food

Nice restaurant on the second floor over, oozing the town square. A fairly limited menu of mostly sandwiches for lunch but everything was excellent. For wheel chairs there is a ramp in the back but no elevator. A little pricey but good and large portions.

If you ever go to Taos, you should try this place. It is really good and conveniently placed right in the center of all the activity Taos has to offer. The service was exceptional. The queso has a nice hot kick to it.

Was having a Girls day out on the Taos Plaza and we wanted to have a great Lunch... we decided to try The Gorge Bar and Grill. It is upstairs above some shops. We were very impressed with the decor and service is primo! 2 of us decided to half a burger and have a cup of soup each... they... More

We recently had lunch at the Gorge Bar and Grill in Taos and absolutely loved the food. Make sure you order the chicken chicharrones appetizer. The sauce that comes with it is like nothing I've ever had. The unique flavor is both sweet and spicy, but not too hot, and just the right kind of subtle. We ordered the Rueben... More

We stumbled on the Gorge while walking the plaza and had read good reviews. They have a great patio overlooking the plaza. We ordered margaritas and they were good. I liked Bella's margaritas better. I loved the nachos with mixed beef/chicks fajitas. They were the best nachos I have ever had!

Pricey, but good. Steaks were $25 to $35 so I opted for the steak salad for $15. My companion had a grilled cheese and fries for $8, so there are some lower cost options. She said both were excellent. Patio seating area, but get there before the live band starts on the plaza at 6 or you will have to... More

We ate here as part of a large group and i was really impressed. Often, when part of a large group the menu is limited and the service is challenged. Neither were the case. Our server was very accomodating to our separate check requests and all of our meal requests. Service was fast and good and food came out hot.... More

Very close to the core. Right on the central plaza. Menu was mixed but had a lot of American food which I liked. Prices good. Food quality good. Waiter took ordered and small issue had to get fixed. He corrected quickly. Great spot. Good value. Good bar and after hours.

We ate lunch on the patio overlooking the Plaza at Taos. the annual festival was going on and our location allowed us to observe the action from far enough away to appreciate the excellent time being enjoyed by all. Our server Ashli described their Bloody Mary's as spicy; however they were perfect for our Anglo palates. Both of us had... More

Located on the east side of the historical Taos Plaza, the Gorge evokes a first impression of a casual one-stop beer operation. But that initial feeling changed quite quickly! After we were seated by our server Brittney on the outdoor balcony overlooking the plaza, we listened to her suggestions. What a menu! What choices! The Green Chile Steak Stew was... More
