Description: The is a new restaurant which replaced Ogilivie's right on the Plaza in Taos. It is a casual restaurant, with a mune that reflect it's SM location, though is by no means "Mexican" completely. WE had a combinations of startes and salads, all of which are excellent; The Bison Sliders were supurb. The balcony overlooking the Plaza is a wonderful place to watch the activity in the Plaza - the only outdoor eating on the Plaza. They have a full bar, and excellent staff who are all very jazzed about being part of this new venture. It is a definite place for a simple but interesting meal.

I liked this place very much. There is a fine terrace overlooking Toas' main plaza where the food is served by professional waiters, not just kids, the tables are kept clean, and the food is hot, ample, and delicious, and the bar service excellent.

Even at 2 p.m. lots of traffic in this place due to the lack of good lunch restaurants that are reasonably priced

and fish tacos, too. Patio overlooks the plaza. Our waiter was friendly and let us have several tastes of local beers before deciding on one! This was one of the busier restaurants the night we were here and we enjoyed the atmosphere of eating on the plaza!

This a nice bar and grille on the Plaza in Taos. It is upstairs and if you chose to sit outside the view of the Plaza is great. Service was very good and the place was busy. Food was good and the portions were large. Maybe too large for an old guy but what the heck. The atmosphere inside is... More

As always the food at the Gorge was delicious. The green chili corn chowder was the best I have ever tasted. Outside patio overlooking the square. A must stop on every visit to Taos.

Delicious lunch at a reasonable price. Very relaxed atmosphere. Happened upon this place by chance, and I'm so glad we did. It was our favorite meal of our 7 day vacation!

This place is not cheap, but nothing in Taos is cheap. The offerings are Standard bar and grill stuff as well as some Mexican dishes too. New Mexico is famous for dishes with Green Chilly added, and the Gorgeous Burger is a very good choice if you like burgers. Service was quite slow and got to the point that I... More

We sat on the patio on a comfortable evening. Nice view of the plaza made it very enjoyable. We had a burger and fries, the fries are beer battered and were outstanding. Nice light crispiness on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. After enjoying our dinner we had a margarita, it was supposed to be a top shelf... More

My daughter and granddaughters stopped in for lunch. The hamburgers were described as "the best I have ever eaten" and the turkey cobb salad was excellent. The restaurant has an excellent beer and wine list. Our waiter was superb. Not only was he efficient, he had a wonderful personality and was very helpful in recommending where we might enjoy a...
