Where the locals go

I made a quick lunch stop here while passing through town and was pleased. There are many healthy options with the favorite being the Veggie Bowl... grilled veggies on rice. This was also the first place on my swing through NM that offered hard taco shells... maybe not traditional for... read more

Good menu with some American and some New Mexican items. Pleasant interior, clean, good service. Had a really good sandwich. Will go back.

The girl who waited on me looked like she would rather be anywhere else but there. I said good morning and asked if I should order from the counter and she rudely said, "no it's table service". Imth

We stopped for lunch when my daughter, a coffee aficionado, was visiting. In addition to excellent coffee, we enjoyed delicious sandwiches and courteous services. Will visit again. Looking forward to sitting outside in warmer weather.

We loved the espresso drinks. I had some delicious oatmeal, served with granola and steamed milk. My husband had a terrific sandwich. We would have returned during our visit, but they were closed until after New Year's Day.

We had an ok breakfast here but I was bothered by one thing: I didn't want a full breakfast plate so I ordered my food a la carte. When it came, the waitress just gave me the breakfast plate closet to what I ordered for $3 more. Seems a bit trivial, but I just wanted what I ordered..... The food... More

I liked the name of the place, so I stopped by for breakfast. The waitress clearly saw me come in and didn't seem to be too busy, but never greeted me and seemed unhappy to serve me. Had a breakfast sandwich, which was very average.

Missed breakfast at our hotel so we dropped in at the Purple Sage for brunch. What a find!! Delicious food, clean establishment, friendly attentive staff. It's right on the main road with plenty of parking. We would definitely go back. We might have skipped it, had we seen the bad reviews some folks have left. Glad we gave it a... More

Had the nachos--cold and stale. No excuse for cold food. They were not crowded at all. My husband had a grilled sandwhich--also stale.
