Delicious and creative

Had a large group come for dinner here our last night in Taos. We sat out on the beautiful covered patio. Our waitress was fun and informative. The food was delicious, well prepared and creative. I had the trout and it was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals. It was a great evening. It's a... read more

My parents, two adult brothers, myself and all our families (15 people), had the most lovely dinner at The Love Apple. The quaint, open, airy, candlelit ambiance created an intimate backdrop for our scrumptious and delightful meal. We began with the cornbread (yellow and blue - gluten free), the truffle oil mushrooms, the bacon wrapped me shook date and blue... More

The ate at The Love Apple as we were staying at the wonderful Hacienda del Sol next door. I enjoyed the atmosphere in the old church and the eclectic furnishings, art works and candle light. The menu was interesting with lots of different dishes and unusual flavours. I enjoyed the lamb meatballs, even if I did need them cooking more... More

We made reservations here 2 months ago and then called to reconfirm. Haughty hostess claimed at first not to find our reservations and then when I persisted..she did.It w as our anniversary as I mentioned when we booked, and we were given a quite forgettable table. Dinner was a D at best(lamb meatballs). Save your money and go elsewhere.

We sat outside under the tent at this restaurant and enjoyed a beautiful view of the mountains. After having had a nice lunch at a local Mexican restaurant, we weren't hungry for a full meal. Instead, we ordered a shareable plate of yummy Spanish ham, manchego cheese, and olive oil. The only thing missing was some delicious Spanish green olives.... More

I was completely disappointed by what I thought would be a perfect, romantic dining experience. To make a long story short, my boyfriend and I made a reservation at 8:30 and showed up about 4 minutes early. Our table was not yet ready and we watched the hostess seat a few couples who did not have a reservation before attending... More

Wonderful food, atmosphere with friendly and knowledgeable servers. A former church is now a farm to table restaurant supporting locally grown products. The menu is limited but everything we ordered was wonderful and all dishes being delivered to various tables looked incredible. Cash or check only.

A wonderful restaurant in old Taos (actually the north edge) -- some great menu choices, grilled asparagus, a fantastic soup including garlic, goat cheese, maybe pesto, trout cooked in corn husk with a wonderful spiced sauce, and a vegetarian tamale in mole. Excellent wine list and a nice aperitif! Suggest sitting on the patio even if the late afternoon rains... More
