Oh what a meal!

We reserved early and came at the opening; as we walked in we could see the kitchen and small citrus zest. Sure enough, it was orange zest going in the orange sage butter -- one of two to accompany the specialty cornbreads (Buttermilk Yellow and Wheat-free Blue) that evening. Appetizer: Venison... read more

I have eaten at Love Apple several times and it never disappoints. Service is smooth and timely and the wait staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is fresh and interesting and always DELICIOUS! One can eat here solo or with a large table and feel like it is the perfect space to do so. Oh, and desserts here---OOH LA... More

We had a birthday dinner for two while staying at the Hacienda de Sol, B & B. The Love Apple has a romantic eclectic feel, lots of white and candles. It has a lovely ambience. The service is attentive and warm. And, the best part, the food is extraordinary!

when some family came through taos and took me to dinner at the love apple, i was excited because i had always heard that it was really good, albeit out of my price range by a longshot. the place has a really nice aesthetic; dark wood, mood lighting, old and funky feeling. the food was extraordinarily tasty. i mean, seriously... The Love Apple in Taos was recommended to us by our B&B hostess. We made a reservation (suggested) and went to find that the food is well prepared and attractive. They use local foods and apparently most or all are organic. They have a diverse menu and long wine list. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. Our meals... More

Feb 2015 - I was thrilled to get same night reservations when I called on a winter's Friday. I'd read about the Love Apple in a road trip snippet from a years old travel magazine & wanted to try this less traditional restaurant. I loved the out-of-my-ordinary food offerings & really enjoyed my duck in cherry sauce entrée. My husband... More

From the Blue cheese/apple quesadillas appetizer to the corn shuck wrapped trout or the Baked Tamale you can not go wrong at the Love Apple. And it's all locally grown foods.

Wonderful spot. We loved both apps and 1 entree. We didn't love the seasoning of the second entree, but overall a good spot

Little place with indoor and outdoor seating. I enjoyed the steak special. I'm really a filet gal, but the steak was nicely cooked....if a tad fatty. My dining partner ordered the tamale which she found a tad odd. No tamale to be found, only a few kernels of corn under the toppings. They don't take plastic so be sure to... More

Housed in a former Catholic chapel, Las Placitas, the Love Apple is a delightful restaurant which uses farm fresh ingredients in a creative manner. We recently dined there as our last meal prior to departing from our recent trip from Taos. Overloaded from prior carb loaded meals, we tasted two of the appetizers and an entree from their recently introduced... More
