I know that this is a restaurant that prides itself in being organic. That is a great feature, yet when you get dirt crunch with every bite of salad, it becomes a negative experience. The menu rarely changes and is overpriced..

Small intimate restaurant with delicious options. Only serves beer and wine, but menu was outstanding. They only except Cash or Check.

Like a previous reviewer we travel all over the US experiencing all our beautiful country has to offer. One of those experiences are restaurants which we run the gamut everything from very expensive to cheap restaurants. Our main criteria are similar…tasty well-prepared, fresh ingredients, ambiance/atmosphere with good service. We too, almost cancelled our reservation after reading a number of the... More

We were lucky enough to find last minute reservations at this special little restaurant. It was my husband and our two adult sons looking for an out-of-the-ordinary dinner. Skylar, our waitress was one of the most charming young women we have ever met. Even if the food was not exceptional, interacting with her made this experience great. But, that being... More

The Love Apple is still one of our favorite restaurants in Taos. My husband and I enjoy the soft lighting, minimal decor, great service, amazing food, and typically adult only atmosphere. The food is fresh and local. Make a reservation since this is a popular place and the restaurant is small. It is a former 100+ year old church. Lots... More

First of all the setting is pretty sweet, a beautifully preserved 19th century (?) chapel in town. Soft lighting is superb. Sparsely decorated with mirrors and other lights and flowers adds to the charm. Rustic, romantic....sure. The big problem? To start, the middle-aged hostess who wears her long braid to one side and wears a perma surly smile and challenges... More

We called this place for reservations as it was right in front of our hotel, but to our surprise they don't even have high chairs! How kid unfriendly can you get. Never been to a restaurant without high chairs. Thanks but no thanks. We took our money elsewhere and suggests other families do the same.

We had to wait a long time for our table, despite a reservation. Service was very friendly but inconsistent--were served two appetizers but had to wait a long time for the second two. Food was good but not necessarily worth the high price.

We had heard such good things about this restaurant and we really wanted to like it, but by the time our meal was over we were terribly disappointed. The bad experience literally began when we walked through the door which was difficult as an old rug folded in half was blocking the entry. A hostess looked at us but never... More

Upon arrival we were ignoref for 10 minutes. Finally a server asked if we had reservations, which we did. Hostess stilled ignored us. Finally seated after 15 minutes. Our server basically read the menu to us, then left. After 15 minutes the server came back for our wine order. I ordered a squash soup that was inedible. Food was adequate... More
