A definite "must" when visiting Taos

Make sure and get reservations for this lovely restaurant! The atmosphere is upscale yet comfortable, the wine list is very nice, and the menu is based on locally produced foods. It was fantastic to see things on the menu that we'd seen at the farmer's market that morning. The service was good, the... read more

Our friends had eaten here before and were very excited to return. Unfortunately this was a very disappointing experience. We had made a reservation and were quickly seated. A couple were seated at the next table and their order was taken long before ours. We placed our order and than waited and waited for our dinner. The waiter did come... More

Once a year we visit Taos & eat at the Love Apple & we're never disappointed. The service is friendly and the menu is very tasty & always interesting. I had the corn tamales with egg & my husband had the antelope tenderloin, both excellent. The wine list is also excellent They don't take credit cards but they take checks,... More

As a good as any meal that I've had in Santa Fe, without the Santa Fe price tag. Seriously, it's on par with the Compound, Coyote Cafe, and Geronimo. The wine list was also excellent. If you're looking for a great meal, in an unpretentious space, with friendly, approachable service this is a spot to check out.

Tried the antelope here. It was a bit disappointing. I will say I've never had it before, but thought it would be better than what I got. This place is packed and popular, but we were not impressed. Our waitress was nice, but pretty casual and "hippy" which is what Taos is I guess. I was "out" when a dessert... More

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. The atmosphere is lovely.. cool breeze, French decor. Waitress was very helpful and pointed out her favorites. The food was AMAZING! We had the blue corn cornbread and flavored butters (yum),the vegetarian mole was flavorful and delicious and lastly the dessert was amazing. We had the chocolate chili... More

I found the meals at Love Apple to be unique, fresh, and delicious. The atmosphere was very inviting, but I have to say the service is amazing and personal! I've eaten there four times this last time was with my two sisters, although it was a busy night (like every night) the staff left us alone with our conversation and... More

First some head up items - only checks and cash so NO CREDIT CARDS. That does not seem to stop them from filling up the tables on a Sunday nite in August. POSITIVES - this is gourmet, great servers, great ambience, nice menu choices, flexible to change for gluten sensitivity, adventuresome items for a new experience, nice wine choice (some... More

This must be the most charming restaurant in town, it really has a farm to table feel. The dish I ordered with creamy poblano sauce served over chicken and polenta was so amazing! I tried it at home and although not as good as Love Apples got rave results. Would most definitely return.
