Loved the beautiful decor and delicious and unique food. It was nice to see vegetarian options in an upscale restaurant! The tamale mole was wonderful. Reasonable prices for the quality. Only downside was the waitress, while somewhat friendly she was not around much and far from personable. A different server could have made this one of the best dining experiences... More

CASH or CHECK only. We read the reviews and were hoping for something special...Alas. It was the awkward and humiliating having to send food back adventure. My wife ordered the duck and the server said it was served "medium rare"; this is apparently their euphemism for bleeding. We asked about the serving of duck rare and where told it was... More

Situated in an old building that was originally a church,it has that same feel. Food was pretty good, portions not overly large but not that expensive either. Desert was a little pricey for what you got, so I'd think twice about ordering it again. Indoor or patio seating.

Loved this place. Romantic, rustic atmosphere in a traditional (small) adobe building. Nice courtyard for evening dining. The staff made sure we were aware of the cash only policy before we were seated. No problem walking in without reservation as it was after Labor Day. Enjoyed the tortilla appetizer with three excellent spreads/dips. The salad with goat cheese was amazing.... More

Four of us had dinner here, sharing some appetizers and then diverging: the trout, the chicken, the vegetarian taco, the lamb burger. Everything was well prepared although the trout and vegetarian taco stood out. We also ordered sides of sautéed chanterelles. And three desserts. The desserts were fine, although the peach crisp lacked flavor. The restaurant is reasonably priced in... More

Really enjoyed our meal at Love Apple. Sat outside under the front porch, very rustic yet comfortable and charming. Service was attentive, and food was wonderful!!!! A shout out for the bacon wrapped dates and the baked tamale with red chile mole. Everything we had was beautifully prepared and we were happy to linger over our food and conversation. No... More

Very nice place to sit and eat in the evening. The chef has a serious issue with his palate though. Salad for starter had a 'lemon dressing' that was totally overpowering. Couldn't eat it - painfully acidic. The veggie tamale was pretty nice but the veggie tacos had no depth of flavour. The shredded cabbage on top was about the... More

Found this restaurant through TripAdvisor and other sources and made a reservation - we highly suggest doing that! The restaurant is small and on a weekend night, you could end up waiting a while for a table. Food is quite good and interesting. Service was good. Atmosphere is kind of shabby chic, fun, welcoming, and very comfortable. We sat indoors... More
