OMG Seriously BEST EVER!

This now my favorite restaurant in Taos! Three of us went for lunch, hubby had the Taos rice, I had the Paella and my friend had the Saltado. Each dish was absolutely perfect. I am very critical of food and I couldn't find a single thing wrong. All I can say is GO!

Breakfast is my favorite meal to eat out and there are not many good breakfast places in Taos to choose from and I get tired of going to the same few, but I never get tired of Gutiz. Since they opened a few years ago, it has been my favorite place for breakfast-it is small and a bit rustic inside,... More

We stopped by late on Valentines and checked to see if there was a last minute opening since many other places were booked. They were in fact full but had a cancellation shortly before we arrived so we were able to sit down within 30 minutes. What luck! We loved the prix fixe dinner. The vibe was local, friendly and... This small gem is cooking up some seriously delicious European fare on their daily menu. They only have nine tables total in the restaurant, so book early. We arrived at 5:30p, soon enough to order from the Prix Fixe menu that is only offered between 5-6p. Appetizer was a delicious mushroom soup, for the main I chose the mussels over... More

My husband and I ate at Gutiz tonight to celebrate a delayed honeymoon ( two years!) It was definitely worth it! Though their menu and wine list are limited, what they have is delicious. They have selections for meat eaters (my husband said the beef bourginon is the best meal he has had in five years) vegetarians and vegans. I... More

Chef Erica Miller brings her talents to the Taos dinner scene 3 nights a week. French, Mediterranean inspired menu. I've been twice. Once I had chicken picatta and another time I had the special which was a lovely fish and chips. We also had a couple of starters the chick pea fries and the mushroom in pastry. Salads are the... My husband and I are eating mostly Vegan and saw that Gutiz had menu items to feed a wide range of eating styles. He had the French toast and I had the Taosena. OK that French toast was Ah- MAZING! We live 1 1/2 hours away and I will be driving there on the weekends for a French toast fix!... More

Long known for their excellent brunches and good lunches, Gutiz, a locally popular French-Latin "fusion" restaurant, has recently begun serving dinner on weekends (call ahead for reservations.) We've joined them three times in five weeks, and have been delighted every time. The freshest ingredients appear in some truly delectable dishes, such as homemade pasta with seasonal vegetables and sausage, or... More

Went for a much with friends. The menu is broad and each person who dined rated their meal 5. Selections anywhere from paella, mussels, beet salad with goat cheese in a flour tortilla to tilapia. Service was skled, food served hot and timely. Checks professionally prepared and handled. Wine selection paired with foods nicely and sadly no one had room... More

We came to this petite restaurant knowing it was loved by the locals. The descriptions of each dish on the menu made it difficult to make choices. I picked the French Toast which was visually lovely and equally tasty. My husband's eggs were also very well prepared. There were also i teresting choices of teas and coffee. The staff could...
