New MexiTexMex - pretty good

Stopped in after an antelope hunt nearby. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, the fun, green chili New MexTex food was good and plentiful. Good service and a classic small town diner.

This is a very nice place to eat. Great food & the menu had so much to choose from. I will definitely come back if I'm in town again.

Fantastic food and friendly service. We ate at Elida's several times during the Colfax County Fair. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. The food is always great!

Stumbled upon this little spot on our way from Santa Fe to Pueblo. Very good food and generous portions. Our waitress ....when she finally came over to take our order..... was pleasant but inattentive. Too bad the service wasn't as delightful as the meal.

The food was great, but the waitress/cashier was not friendly. I took it as a family owned and operated since their was an elderly man that sat at the front table and waitress was talking to him in spanish.

Elida's makes food the way Northern New Mexican cuisine should be made. We enjoyed the stuffed sopaipilla. The menu is simple and traditional, including selections kids and other conservative diners might eat. The restaurant is clean and quaint, with large, colorful, oilcloth table covers. 16 tables with lots of room. The sole waitress was everything she needed to be, although... More

Good breakfast and lunch option. Not a whole lot of options in this tiny town but we were pleasantly surprised!

After a day of traveling and seeing some of the area around Springer and Cimarron, we had a very nice dinner here. The chile rellenos, shredded beef tacos, and cheese enchiladas were all good for our group of 3. Very enjoyable and would eat here again.
