good food, with servings large enough that we shared the fajtas to make a reasonable meal for 2. It was fun to be part of the family-friendly open mike Friday night.

My friend and I both ordered the green chile omelets. I had them customize mine by adding chorizo, which was no problem. Excellent food and great service! Our server was very attentive and even told us about a place to do photography outside of town. Turned out to be a local secret that was fantastic!

And I got it. Such friendly, kind people. Great food! Reasonably priced. Saturday night had a 3-man band playing some classic counrty. I had a GREAT time. While driving down the main street, caught this place out of the corner of my eye, and decided to give it a try. My only regret was not reading reviews before going because... More

Best breakfast burrito...ever! And the posole is perfect. Good thing I don't live in Socorro any longer. This place is a nightmare for my waistline!

I am a little surprised by all the favorable reviews, because I would never go back to this place. Beans and rice were bland, red and green chile were both spicy but not tasty, the red was even a little sweet, which tasted odd. The chicken enchilada burrito was awful, just mushy flavorless chicken cooked in some sort of sauce... More

We had plenty of food at both dinners we ate here. Both times the waitress was accomodating to substitutions as much of the menu has eat in it, and we wanted vegetarian. Excellent guacamole, but all of the salsa was too hot for both of us. (probably mild for New Mexico) Staff was attentive and friendly, and it's evident they... More

Stopped for late lunch. Food was OK. Had the carne adovado plate. Pork in red chile sauce was nice. Rice and beans were tired. Cheap eats. Service was very slow and inattentive. Seat yourself if you can find a clean table. Thought would try new place based on reviews. Bad decision. Will go back to usual place, which also has... More

This restaurant was very clean and served a variety of foods including Mexican. I had the pancakes and bacon which were great! My only criticism is that the water for tea was not hot!

Sofia's smothered burritos are so good. It is about the only thing I order; even though the hue is rancheros are good too! There is always a crowd at Sofia's!

On Saturday night, they had a great guitarist-singer, but the "mild" dishes we ordered were way too spicy for our palates.
