Satisfying every time

A good place to get honest food when we are in the Socorro area. Today was no exception, the taco salad hit the spot for us both! The burritos to go are always good when travelling as well. Hard to beat for the money, better value than fast food!

I wasn't very hungry so I ordered the Frito Pie appetizer and my coworker ordered the chile cheese fries. Simple food that tastes good at a cheap price is the best way to describe it. The wait staff was very friendly and that made the meal quite enjoyable. The decor is very plain but look past that when you enter... More

Stopped here for lunch today. I ordered the green chile cheeseburger because on the menu it was listed as a signature dish. The burger was large, the green chile mostly absent, the cheese was not melted on the burger, the fries were cold and limp. I could only eat a few small bites before I gave up. Not good. My... More

Food wasn't bad, just thought my burrito was extremely bland. Atmosphere was relatively bland and service was alright. No thrills here, but edible food. Sit down style restaurant.

Sofia’s Kitchen gives you a very good plate of Mexican food. It covers all the bases needed to go down in my book as having sabor con caracter. It has southwest inspired decorations on the walls which gives it a cantina effect. They even have a small stage for live music. It is located of off US 60 in the... More

While working in this city I asked a local what their favorite eating place was. She mentioned Sofia's. I went thinking I would get a nice chicken fried steak. I always ask if they are from a food service company or not. The employee mentioned that they were, but she mentioned that they have a flat enchilada. It was sweet,... More

This place seems popular with the locals. We had lunch and was nothing special. Go to brew-house across the street.

Went while visiting family who recently moved to Socorro and several folks had suggested they try eating here. At first the small menu void of explanations or descriptions of the food scared us, but after asking our server we were able to order. The soda glasses were big and they were sweet. We're native mid-westerners so Mexican food is different... More
