This place was highly recommended to me and let me pass that on to you. If you are in the vicinity do not mss a meal here. My breakfast this morning will last me till supper and was under ten bucks. The decor inside is worth a visit in itself, the wall murals are of high quality. Service is fast... More

i've eaten here inside, once and we grabbed breakfast burritos and went camping. both times, the food is consistently good. big burritos which were way filling. inside, the restaurant is beautiful with murals of the local area (nice!) and the food was good and filling.

We stop here at least every other month, and have for 5 years! Consistently satisfying New Mexican food, prepared right. There is no better meal than a sofias burrito for a study session, and their chile rellenos are easily the best in town. There is nothing fancy about this food, it's just simple straightforward deliciousness. The service is always friendly... More

We stopped here on the way to see some out of the way Mogollon ruins. We have the KANW-FM diner card and decided to give this a try since it was included in buy one get one free. We both had burritos and they were delicious. Green chile, pork nestled in a nice tortilla. It was just what we needed... More

Back tracked to Socorro after visiting Bosque del Apache on our way down to Silver City. We dined here (Sophia's Kitchen) from a recommendation from another place since our original choice had just finished serving lunch and were closed at 2pm. It wasn't bad. Free chips and salsa were presented as soon as we sat down. My friend had the... More

This local, old fashioned spot is just west of the main drag in town. They are open all day and close about 9 PM. Service is very friendly. We had a very large bowl of really tasty posole for about $6 and gigantic warm sopapillas included. This is a great little place-do not miss it.

Never had a sopaipilla before, loved it! Definetly homemade and so good. Went for dinner and truly enjoyed it. Had a combo so got to try tamale, tacos and enchiladas. All were very good. Atmosphere nice, nothing fancy service was good too. They even had a band playing on a Saturday night which was fun. Would go back again really... More

We stopped today for lunch on our way up I-25. They had had a busy morning from all appearances, and several wait staff were ending their shifts, but we were greeted with a smile. I wasn't too hungry but we never miss a chance to stop here. So, I had a child's plate -- taco, beans and rice. Lettuce and... More

Skip the drive thrus and take a break at ths place. Real Mex with the best green chili sauce we've had in many a mile. Great Sunday Brunch had live Western Swing music by Doug Figgs. My wife is a Native and was longing for Tamales which were perfect. I had the Number Two Lunch Special. Looked like a ZZTop... More
