A Nice family choice!

My husband and I are visiting Socorro on a photo tour and stopped for dinner. We both had stuffed soappapillas that were very tasty! Unfortunately, they do NOT sell alcoholic beverages. New Mexican food always tastes better with a beer or margarita!

Good chile rellenos, enchiladas, & sopapillas. Good alternative to fast food when you are driving through Socorro, New Mexico.

We were searching for anything open on New Year's Day and found Armijos. I had eaten there on several occassions over 30 years ago. The staff was friendly and the service quick. I ordered red enchildas with an egg. When it came out, it was a thing of beauty! The sauce was a brilliant red-orange and was absolutely some of... More

Hands down some of the best southwest food I've ever eaten! The staff was excellent, the menu was somewhat limited but they offered to cook almost anything if it wasn't on the menu. A family run business that really cares about it's customers.

We have lived in Socorro for almost 5 years and recently made it to armijo's out of curiosity. no body from town had recommended the place but we always see it when we drive by. I definitely regret my choice of eating there, the prices are average and the food is below average. There is a reason why this restaurant... More

We decided to stop here and how the food compared with chain restaurants and was very impressed with the service and food. Would recomment to anyone who wants something more authentic.

We stopped for lunch headed westward on November 7, 2012. I ate a burrito with carne adovada with sopaipilla. My buddy had the taco plate with shredded beef. The meals were so memorable we stopped there again on our way back East. I liked the burrito I had previously so much I ate the carne adovada plate on this stop.... More

Reasonably priced, good food and great service. The ambiance was okay except for the screaming brat in the south booth.

In my lifetime this place has changed hands several times. I've had outstanding food and service, and service I should have walked out on but I was just too hungry.

How is it possible this restaurant would get any positive reviews whatsoever? The unlit parking lot (drive by three times in the dark trying to find the place), then decor that would suggest you better just walk out, then the food... one of the very few times I did not eat my meal, instead, paid and left the building. Wait... More
