We found this restaurant on YP. It had good reviews, so we decided to give it a chance. It was open 24 hours and free WiFi. We were delighted with the service, the atmosphere and the excellent food. I ordered a tamale and beans. Both were amazingly good. In fact, we went back again a week later (on your return... More

This place recommeded by the Rodeway Inn staff, and it it was excellent. The staff was nice, but the food was top notch! I had their green enchiladas and I was not disappointed. Give it a shot--it is not fancy, but you will walk away satisfied!

The food is generally good and reasonably priced. If you stay at the Econo Lodge, it is about a 90 second walk.

Throwback restaurant from the 60's. Greeter seated me and took drink order but another waitress took food order. Waitress was not as friendly or attentive. Greeter saw to it that I got drink refills. Had the three item combo which was very good. Large portion.

Cute, charming, a step back in time. Loved that aspect of El Camino. Sat in one of the single booths which you don't see often. Asked the waitress about the Senior Combo ; she snatched the menu out of my hand, turned the page and said, "Here...what do you want?" SO absolutely rude! Brought my food...no salsa, no chips, one... Had dinner here after a long day on my motorcycle. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere has that old time diner feel. I had a three item combo platter and it was delicious. Just like home cooking. If you're staying in Socorro you have to have a meal (or two) at El Camino.

this is such a fun place...it is so retro and when you come in, it's like stepping back into time, which in today's life, is kinda fun in itself! the staff here is friendly, everyone talks to everyone. the food is good and a good price too. it's a great place to fuel up while you're on the road. i... We went looking for dessert after fleeing a really bad food experience down the road and found this amazing 24/7 neon-lit family-friendly restaurant from out of the 50s. Though we're told there might be something more gourmet near the plaza, we will definitely return here on every trip to Socorro, for the warm retro ambience, good solid food and friendly... More

Went to breakfast here both days of our visit. The vintage 70s ambiance is fun. It's older, but clean. Any of the breakfast choices are great - the chile is amazing. I got pie (yes, for breakfast dessert) one day. While they don't make it there, it is FABULOUS and was one of the better meringue pies I've had. Servers... More

We were staying next door and the hotel offered a discount at this restaurant. We were tired and hungry and didn't feel like searching very far. The service was excellent, fast and efficient. The food was terrific and plentiful. The atmosphere is a bit dated and very bright, but all in all, a great place for hungry travelors. We will... More
