This regional chain has been around a long time and usually offers pretty good food, although it has always seemed to me to be somewhat pricey for what you get. The food at the various restaurants in the chain, in our experience, has ranged from quite good to really bad. We were returning to Albuquerque from Las Cruces and stopped... More

Expensive for what you get and the food did not taste fresh. Just an average K-Bobs. Service was good though.

We stopped here on our way back from ABQ to Alamogordo. I've found not to trust all reviews and to check it out for myself. This place had friendly staff, clean and open atmosphere, and most importantly good food. I had K-Bobs kebobs with sweet potato and okra and yum. The food was hot and the steak was cooked to... More

For a change from Mexican food, K-Bobs is a good choice. Better than some K-Bobs. Clean salad bar. Friendly and efficient service and good food. The chicken fried steak had a nice crispy crust without being burnt. Prices are average with other restaurants.

Tired from a full day of driving ending in a long photography session at Bosque del Apache, we decide to eat before we go back to the hotel to sleep. Earlier, I asked the receptionist for a suggestion and she mentioned La Bodega but on the way out of the hotel, I noticed this place, just around the corner from... More

on our frequent drives from North Central New Mexico to Tucson. We have regarded this K Bobs as the best en- route option for a lunch stop over; the Salad bar, being the primary reason for coming in the door. First, TV's in restaurants,I feel, should be confined to the bar ... I usually order a small steak, Medium. In this... More

One thing about franchise restaurants, you can pretty much tell what the food's going to be like when you pull into the parking lot. The food was good, did not "do" the salad bar, just ordered from the menu. The steak was cooked to my liking so no complaints there. The service was a little slow, but I think there... More

Eating green Chilies and Mexican food across New Mexico was an experience, but one afternoon we had a late lunch here. Look for the green chilie chicken soup. We even asked for the recipe.

The food was average at best with decent portions. The staff was nice and helpful. The place was mostly clean except for the bathrooms which made most truck stops look like a palace. Otherwise its an OK place for a decent steak at a decent price.
