Contrary to several reviews we read about this restaurant, our service was excellent. We did go early for dinner, but were attended to quickly. Refills on my iced tea were frequent and without my having to indicate need. Very pleasant waitress, who also brought the check at the appropriate time and came over to pick it up right after I... Food was okay. Better than fast food, but not as good as expected. Service was slow, even by New Mexico standards. We may try it again, but won't go out of our way to do so.

My husband and I ate dinner here on 9/30/14. He ordered 2 chili relleno's with green chili, rice and beans for $12.95. I ordered the Carnitas Burrito smothered in green sauce with sour cream and guacamole for $8.75. Everything was awesome!! Everything was fresh and homemade. We really recommend this place. No fajitas but some great mexican food nevertheless.

I went there for one thing and one thing only...Chili Releno. It was delicious. I personally thanked Larry the chef for his excellent meal. I think he was grateful

The painted exterior wall claims the best Mexican food in town. I think they must be wrong. The chicken enchiladas were OK but hubby turned his thumbs down over his pork enchiladas. The neon lights were cool.

Terrible salads; We should have eaten at Joes. The salad did not contain the items listed on the menu. The popcorn chicken had no chicken in it. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The food here is amazing....everything is fresh & tasty. The sauces (red, green or Christmas) is New Mexican at its best. We had hue is rancheros, chimichanga & guacamole but all food served around us looked fabulous! One caveat, which is addressed in other reviews, is that the service is slow but if you can be patient & get past... More

Older style restaurant with Mexican food. Like any other Mexican restaurant you get chips and salsa, you have to pay for everything after the first bowl of chips. The salsa is the best I've ever had, not too spicy and not watery. There was only one server and she had about 8 tables, but she was very attentive to us.... More

Service was slow and poor ask the waitress if the steak rancho was on special she said yes but upon paying the bill we were charged the regular price when I said something about it we were told no. Not another word on top of which on one every ask to fill our glasses or if the food was good.... More
