I'm sure each restaurant has their own version of Mexican food and while this place was ok it just wasn"t what my husband and I were used to (and I don't mean Taco Bell). The chips and salsa were ok and like one person said the refills on the drinks weren't forthcoming but they gave you plenty of ice. I... More

Nice, local, family run restaurant with great food! Super good, homemade guacamole and chips were wonderful.

Don't waste your time! Trip Advisor got this one all wrong. The food is adequate, but the service is a real disappointment! Once your food is delivered, good luck at getting a refill on your drink. Thank goodness they spare no expense with the amount of ice in your drink! Watched a family of five get their drinks, wait to... More

First off, if you ordered tacos at this place you seriously shorted yourself, No wonder you compare it to Taco Bell. You MUST order something smothered in the green chile sauce to even begin to rate this place. It was so good, I wanted to take a quart to go. True, the service may be a little slow at times... More

The service was slow when we first entered, but as more people came it it improved. Food was good. Had the hamburger and onion rings as recommended. Wanted a malt but they were out of malt.

Perfectly-cooked and seasoned steak and shrimp, divine guacamole and side order of cubed potatoes crisp on the outside, fluffy inside. Generous portions at a great price. I'll eat here again whenever I drive through on the I40!

Nothing special here folks. Mediocre food at best. It should have stayed in the fifties. Only one waitress on because no one stops here.

I stopped with high hopes. What i got was an over priced meal. The amount of food for the price is not worth the trip. The tacos were bland the only seasoning was the jarred salsa they serve. At $3 a tacos I expected delicious. The Comet used to be excellent but I am disappointed to say it is a... More

Stopped in for quick Sunday night dinner on our over night stay in Santa Rosa and based on tripadvisor reviews and recommendations of the desk clerk. Both turned out to be right on. The place was busy with just 1 waitress but she handled it nicely. The food was very tasty and well worth the rather modest price. Haven eaten... More

We selected this based on reviews and were not disappointed. Green and red chile anything...had blue corn cheese enchilads with green sauce and husband tried chile rellenos. Both good dishes and they are def made with some love. Feels like an local joint...in the best of ways. The homemade pie looked great but mexican pudding came with our lunch so... More
