It's a DQ! It is what it is- Good!

As I was driving down Route 66, I got hungry for ice cream and I drove around the corner and there it was. It was destiny. It was also at lunch time for most and they were a bit busy, but I ordered a twisted cone and instead of putting me in queue, the lady left the register and created... read more

We usually choose a place to eat by others trip adviser ratings. Unfortunately Santa Rosa is a dying ton on I-40 Highway. Dairy Queen seems to be the only name brand restaurant still open in town. Denny's, KFC, and Long John Silvers have all closed, Out on I-40 on the east end, south of town there is a Carl's Jr,... More

Stopped here for a quick sandwich. Very clean and service was fine. A normal fast food place... nothing really special...just a Dairy Queen. I noticed it was rated very high but I'm sure many other restaurants featuring mexican food would be just as good. Our food was fine and I would stop there again if I was in a hurry.

Stopped for breakfast. Positive was that they serve their entire menu even at breakfast. One in our group ordered a burrito with bacon & no onions. Instead got sausage. One ordered a chicken finger basket but had to pay extra for one honey mustard. One ordered a biscuit. It tasted like sawdust. But it was the only place to stop.

The facility is nice and easy to find, right off the westbound I40 exit. The staff was friendly and the food arrived quickly. We got the value meals, which were good deals. Plenty of parking and the restrooms were clean and tidy. Good place to spend a few minutes resting from a long drive.

Clean and inviting, small town Dairy Queen with small town values. Friendly service and good food. At this place they still know the meaning of customer service which is becoming a dying art in bigger cities in the us. At this place your greeted with a smile and that attitude is present during your whole visit, they say hi and... More

Went to the arches but their ice cream machine was broken. Are you kidding me?! It's July! Found DQ on Trip Advisor and got my ice cream fix. Lesson Learned: Start with Trip Advisor.

We've always been a fan of Dairy Queens since childhood. So, when it came time to select a place for dinner after checking in at the Best Western up the "Historic Route 66", this was an easy choice. I tried the new "Flamethrower" burger, which really lived up to its name! Of course, I had to have one of their... More

I've noticed there are many Dairy Queens in this part of the country than I've seen before, they are scattered all up and down the travel areas and rest stops between on Route 40. I've stayed in Santa Rosa a few years ago, and am glad they have put this here since it gives yet another dining option. If you... More
