Yes, I have to tell everyone, DO NOT EAT AT THIS DISGUSTING HOLE IN THE GROUND!!! We ordered drinks and waited for ten minutes for our waitress and as we waited we noticed one of the drinks had a floating something in it...Guess what it was? A COCKROACH!!! We went up to the female owner at the front and showed... More

Found this intriguing historic diner when we exited interstate to refuel. The interior is a mixture of kitsch ranging from odd Rt. 66 knickknacks and mementos, western motifs, to numerous religious decorations. And, oh yes, there's also Elvis! But in this setting you will find a friendly and attentive wait staff who serve up pretty good, nothing fancy food, that... More

We took a lunch break driving along Route 40 and just by chance pulled into the Route 66 Restaurant. It's definitely a fun, camp sort of place. Locals and folks off the highway were there. Food (tacos were the special of the day) was very good. Salsa was outstanding. Service was excellent. Everything arrived hot to the table (a rarity... More

The outside and inside decor are the best parts of this so-so restaurant. Nothing special about the food or service or price.

Run down, slow service, low quality food. Waitress was nice.but not the food.. McDonalds is across the street and most likely be better and I despise McDonalds. I don't know how these places get such high ratings.

First - This is a must stop old diner on Route 66, true roadie decor right down to the red and black counter stools that spell out Route 66 Cafe. We've been here many times in the past, but it was not quite the same this time. The welcome was always warm and the food was always excellent, not to... More

cute old place....overpriced for what you get...don;t get steak, so tough, can't chew it...looks like diner from the 50's which is great for route 66, but I think the food was left over from the 50's

This is a old place with owners the same for over 30 years. Mom and pop. Salsa good. Chips good. Taco like home cooked. Locals come often. Burrito good served with beans and rice. Spanish rice home made. Coffee good. Old building but clean enough. Bathrooms clean. Family friendly. Waitress owner 60 something. Nice and pleasant but she moves as... More

We sat down, got up used the restroom, checked our email. Ten minutes has passed. We receive our menu and she tells us she would get our drink order in a minute. We looked around hardly anyone had their food. We left. Place did not look too clean either.
