Good Burgers

A typical diner experience. We enjoyed our burgers! The beef was fresh and they had lots of fixins that really balanced it all out. I had green chilis on mine. Service was average, but acceptable. The place is a bit worn (tape on seats) but has a friendly atmosphere.

Had grilled ham and cheese and cheese tots, companion had taco salad. Food was very good, but it took a while to get it. Maybe they were backed up in the kitchen since it was Sunday lunchtime, and the place was full. The servers were very nice and attentive. Would recommend for a nice homey kind of stop. ...just be... The breakfast was very good. Lots to choose from on the menu. Anything with green chili has got to be good!

My son and I ate here after finding our first choice closed for renovation. We were on a cross country trip and as can be imagined ate at many, many places along the way. This was HANDS DOWN the worst experience of the whole trip. The place is crummy looking, the service was indifferent and the food was reminiscent of... More

While staying at the Econolodge just above the resturant I walked down to grab some tacos for $1 tacos on Tuesday. It does awhile to get your food after you have ordered it I think because it is usually busy with vacationers or travelers rolling through. Seems like an average diner resturant, clean place and friendly staff.

We stopped in Santa Rosa on our road trip and found the Route 66 Restaurant for lunch. The place was understaffed for lunch as there was only one wait staff and the cook. It took some extra time to place our order but it arrived in a timely manner. It was Friday and the special was Frito Pie. Never heard... More

We stopped on a Friday night at 7:30 to have supper. Initial drink service was quick, order was taken promptly and after that- there was no service what so ever. After waiting for 45 minutes for our food, I asked the waitress if it was in process....we needed to get going and to cancel the order if it was not... More

We stopped by chance and found this diner. The restrooms were immaculate. The menu was extensive, a little slow once we had ordered, but good hot food and cooked for each customer. the decor was superb and I cannot emphasise enough how clean and pleasant it was. Great fun.

Had burger and enchilada. Very good. Stop here on our road trips. Family owned. Recently remodeled. If you are on a hurry go some where else. Reasonable prices and clean!!!
