Nice food but busy

The food was very nice but it appeared to be just one lady trying to run the whole restaurant and it was busy. Restaurant is nicely decorated in '60 style - black and white tiled floors and red booths.

Service was good as was the food. Between the 4 of us we had the biscuits and gravy, breakfast burrito and an omelette. All well prepared and served hot. We would eat here again.

We were lucky, our room was not ready at a motel down the street so we had nothing better to do than wait for one hour to get our food. BUT, it was good! This is a Mom and Pop operation and has been for a long time. Good music from the 1960, (60's on 6).

Not sure what's going on. Cook quit? Only serving breakfast or sandwiches at 1 p.m. People left. Not much choice in this town. One place closed for renovation. Several just plain boarded up. Took forever to bring us water which came after the hot salsa & chips. Weird. Chicken & taco salads both small for 8.25/8.50. My salad swimming in... More

Very clean, but poorly staffed, and very busy. I was expecting a New Mexico flavor but could have opened a can of wolf brand chili at home to get the same taste. Prices were cheap but flavor wasn't what I expected for NM huevos.

This place is the worse place ever. It took forever to get any service. One lady brought 2 menus for our party of 7 and didnt even take our drink order. Finally another lady took our drink then the first lady came back to get our food order. No attempts to refill our drinks or check on us until I... More

This place left me speechless and that is saying something. Might I add speechless and not in a positive manner. Finding a place to sit was easy especially with hardly an empty place to park, and that is where it all went down hill. We were left waiting for someone anyone to acknowledge that we existed for an extended period... More

We traveled all day and we very excited to see a diner close enough to walk to instead of having to get back in the car. Service was good. Food was in actual appropriate portions. Ask for salsa..its worth the trip.

My advice: Don't go here. Ever. This was absolutely one of the worst meals I have ever had. The place looked cute from the outside and I'm a sucker for Route 66 kitsch, so we decided to give it a try. One waitress seated us and then ignored us. The other waitress finally came over and wanted us to give... More

We stopped for dinner one night, very few diners present. Took 15 minutes to get iced tea. Salads consisted of translucent iceberg lettuce with white vinegar and crisco oil for dressing. Chicken tenders were larger versions of McNuggets. Waitress rarely made an appearance. Very disappointing.
