you come for the atmosphere

Nothing here was outstanding but the atmosphere was great. I would eat here again for a quick stop. Staff was friendly.

We were hungry after several hours of driving and pulled off I-40 in Santa Rosa. This place was the first spot with a large parking lot for a RV. There were several cars so we took a chance. We did not check with trip advisor prior to stopping. I had a small wilted lettuce grilled chicken salad. Wilted was from... More

Great food! Beef tacos are the BEST! The service was great for a Fri night. Our server was good and answered all of our Gluten Free questions without making us feel as though we were trouble. Been on the road for days and this was by far the best on I-40!

Perhaps someone didn't come in for their shift, but we had very slow service, from beginning to end. No offers for drink refills, no offers for dessert, nothing. We saw at least one couple that came in, sat at the counter, but were never acknowledged and finally left after about 20 minutes if waiting for someone to wait on them.... More

This place caught my eye as do most any vintage establishments that are still operating. The signage caught my eye and I was drawn in. I'm a sucker for vintage! Tuesday is Taco day apparently and tacos were only $1 a piece. I of course had 6 to verify the consistency. Or maybe I was just starving after a long... More

It's a diner with diner food. It will fill your belly but probably not your memory with an outstanding dining experience. Wife liked the fried chicken and my chicken fried steak was acceptable. The mashed potatoes were real and not the potato buds mix. It was ok but I would probably try somewhere else next time.

This is just a nice diner with good food and some Route 66 memorabilia. Nothing fancy but good food.

Looked for a quick stop off if I-40 and drove into here. Sat right down on a Wednesday at lunch. Service was prompt and friendly. Family had a couple different burgers, I had the bean burrito. All of it was ok but not anything to write home about. Had to try the place out since it had been here a... More
