Spotlessly clean and very authentic decor

We stopped by chance and found this diner. The restrooms were immaculate. The menu was extensive, a little slow once we had ordered, but good hot food and cooked for each customer. the decor was superb and I cannot emphasise enough how clean and pleasant it was. Great fun.

We stopped on a Friday night at 7:30 to have supper. Initial drink service was quick, order was taken promptly and after that- there was no service what so ever. After waiting for 45 minutes for our food, I asked the waitress if it was in process....we needed to get going and to cancel the order if it was not... More

Had burger and enchilada. Very good. Stop here on our road trips. Family owned. Recently remodeled. If you are on a hurry go some where else. Reasonable prices and clean!!!

We were traveling on I-40 and just wanted to get a quick bite. There were a couple of cars parked in front and it looked like a nice nostalgic place to stop. It was everything we thought it was. Great decor if Route 66. We opted for Mexican food and it was OK. Servers were friendly and food was served... More

We stopped here on a business trip as we were going through. The hamburgers were really good and the restaurant was a throwback to the route 66. Fun relaxing and the wait staff was great.

Yes, I have to tell everyone, DO NOT EAT AT THIS DISGUSTING HOLE IN THE GROUND!!! We ordered drinks and waited for ten minutes for our waitress and as we waited we noticed one of the drinks had a floating something in it...Guess what it was? A COCKROACH!!! We went up to the female owner at the front and showed... More

Found this intriguing historic diner when we exited interstate to refuel. The interior is a mixture of kitsch ranging from odd Rt. 66 knickknacks and mementos, western motifs, to numerous religious decorations. And, oh yes, there's also Elvis! But in this setting you will find a friendly and attentive wait staff who serve up pretty good, nothing fancy food, that... More

We took a lunch break driving along Route 40 and just by chance pulled into the Route 66 Restaurant. It's definitely a fun, camp sort of place. Locals and folks off the highway were there. Food (tacos were the special of the day) was very good. Salsa was outstanding. Service was excellent. Everything arrived hot to the table (a rarity... More

The outside and inside decor are the best parts of this so-so restaurant. Nothing special about the food or service or price.
