A good restaurant in the east mountains! We had pretty good service, though slow at the end to get our bill done. Food was good but the portions seemed a bit small.

Very excellent New Mexican fair in quiet atmosphere with excellent Margaritas. Green chile is excellent as are chile rellenos and my husband loves the shredded beef.

My husband and I go to Los Cuates, was Pete's about once a month and always enjoy our meals. I like the Chile Rellenos and he loves the shredded beef enchiladas. We really enjoy their unique salsa as well.

Los Cuates?(spelling?) We ate here for first time. Very good food, fair prices, & excellent service. So nice to have another nice place to eat here in the East Mountains.

My husband and I ate here on our way home from a trip to Red River on a Sunday. I thought the New Mexican food was very good and the service was good as well. We sat at the bar and the service was quick and friendly. I enjoyed the food and I will return when I'm in the area.... More

Food is good, service is fair. I have mixed feelings about this place, I think the problem could be the revolving staff, because there is definately no consistency. New Mexican food is good when done right, and bad when I'll attempted. I can't say that I've had a horrible meal here, but I did not appreciate the moldy flour tortillas,... More

the food is basic, nothing special that would ever make me jump at the idea of returning. i live nearby so i find myself back here when family is in town, often just because there is no wait on a sat night (hint). im not saying the food is terrible...just nothing special. to be honest id rather make my own... Sadly the food is mediocre. That is reflected in a number of reviews. Unfortunately some of the "Excellent" reviews read falsely, as in written by the owner or staff... Most of the items we have tried are okay, but just not really good. We love nearby so we have tried it several times hoping it would improve. We STILL hope... More

We live in the east mountains and eat mexican out about once a month - sometimes more. We used to go to several different places in town (Sadies, Padillas, Mary and Titos, etc etc). Once Pete's opened - we go nowhere else! I also want to state that we live South of the interstate, so Pete's is actually further than... More

The food was awful and the service was worse. We have been here before but it seems to be going steadily down hill. I ordered what was once my favorite greek salad with grapes leaves> Sounds a little crazy at a mexican place but it used to be really good, housemade dressing, fresh grapeleaves... This time around the gradeleaves were... More
