Family went for dinner. Not the best customer service but, also not horrible. Chips were stale and salsa too runny. Husband had fish tacos. They were good. I had the red cheese enchiladas, which had no flavor. I've had better. Overall, this restaurant is not on my list on my future ruidoso trips.

If you want EXCELLENT traditional mexican food....this is your place. You can always tell a great mexican restaurant by it's introduction of chips and salsa.....and man o me this was this delicious!! Both were home made and fresh from the kitchen yummy! We had breakfast there every morning we were in town (4 days). My husband likes more traditional "american"... More

We chose Lucy's despite the negative reviews because it was conveniently located and we could walk from the condo rather than get out on a crowded holiday weekend. We were so glad we did!! It was a busy Saturday evening but we were seated quickly despite the large number of tables already filled. Service was prompt and friendly. Food from... More

We went for a mid-afternoon snack and drink. I have been to this place several times over the years. I love their queso with green chilies! However, no one ever waited on us. We had to go up to the bar to get drinks. Their HUGE coronarita was yum though! Maybe we caught them on a short handed day.

We decided to try this restaurant out due to a friends suggestion. Unfortunately I did not have the same experience as they did. When we sat at our table it was still dirty and needed to be wiped down. Overall cleanliness was a little lacking. The waiter took awhile to come over and finally take our drink order. We decided... There is no excuse in this area to use preformed (old El Paso) taco shells. I had a combo plate and had the worst food I have ever eaten in this town. Taco Bell is five stars over this place

We had great service after we begged the hostesx to let us sit in the front area. Our table of 4 enjoyed each of our entrees. The portions are large. The salsa was good, but we opted for medium green chili salsa for an extra 50 cents and loved if! The tri colored enchiladas with sides of beans, rice and... More

They have really good salsa but it's not consistent. Sometimes super hot and sometimes just medium. Their refried beans are vegetarian and are tasty but again, not consistent. SOmetimes crunchy and smooth others...overall taste is quite good. Guacomole is always good...best Margarita in town...with really good service!

Absolutely loved the crispy shrimp tacos! In fact, I drove back to Ruidoso just to have Lucy's shrimp tacos the next weekend. Atmosphere is great and the service is excellent! I highly recommend Lucy's to anyone wanting delicious mexican food.
