Worth the wait!

Unfortunately we missed the eggs Benedict but the food was beyond yummy and the staff was so friendly! Made us feel at home.

I have been eating here as long as Jimmy has been in business and have recommend it to a multitude of people, always been thanked for the recommendation! Jimmy is a local man with a talent for cooking and woodworking! His eggs Benedict on weekends is as good as you can get. He servers traditional breakfasts as well as dishes... More

Food is great and service friendly and price average. As good as cornerstone bakery but small selection and short hours made it out 2nd breakfast choice.

Authentic, good Mex food, especially breakfasts. When offered choice of spice-level, their "HOT" will light-you-up. Ima gringo transplant that thought I was a connoisseur of super-hot. Pena's proved that Ima wuss. No shame in that - so "buyer be aware". I know that it's hard to distinguish, and differentiate, yourself when it comes to breakfast-burritos ... but, dang!!! - Pena's... Ok, so the place is tiny and in the winter, sitting outside is impossible; however, it's all definitely worth it. The owners (husband & wife) do the cooking and assist the wait staff. The menu offers an excellent variety of homemade dishes for breakfast/lunch and some of the breakfast specials like steak & eggs and eggs Benedict are excellent values.... More

We had lunch today at Pena's. We were so late (1:55) and they close at 2. They welcomed us anyway and fed us well. My husband had a taco salad and I had a veggie omelet. Pena's food is really fresh and tasty.

Love this place! Small but worth the rate. Hubby always gets the breakfasts but I can't pass up the Mexican food! We come to Ruidoso twice each year for a week and this place is a must for us!

Small cozy place, but if you can get a seat well worth it. Authentic south of the border cuisine. Good variety even the little ones will eat. Very friendly staff.

We ate at this little place sunday morning, so glad we did! First off its a tiny place, the wait is outside and you have to add your name to a sheet of paper by the door. We got right in. I ordered a burrito smothered in tomatillo saice, it was great!!!! And HUGE! My boyfriend had a standard breakfast,... More
