We've had pizza from Café Rio several times while in Ruidoso and it never disappoints! Awesome, fresh, handmade pizza with a great crust! Although the space is small and in the summer a little warm due to the pizza ovens, it's still definitely worth it! Or, order to go!

We were visiting friends in town and decided to pick up pizza and take it home. We ordered a large with half pepperoni and half with "the kitchen sink", Wow! This is great pizza. The kitchen sink had ham, cheese, spicy sausage and brisket on it. It also had green and black olives, jalapenos, bell peppers and green chiles. This... More

Small place, great staff. The pizza is great - thin crust like we prefer! The meatball sandwich was really great...doesn't look large when it come out, but it is very filling! My husband only ate one half and took the other half home!

Awesome hole in the wall pizza joint with great service and awesome food. We eat here at least 1 time every time we visit Ruidoso. The salads are fresh and the pizza doe is hand tossed.... Don't let the outside or even the inside turn you away... It really is good and cheap!

Forget all of the bad reviews about the service. Yes - it is a dump inside - and yea - they may not greet you as you might like. But as far as the pizza goes - it is absolutely the BEST !! Salads are also very good. If your looking for good pizza - try this place !!

If you are hungry for pizza, your best bet in Ruidoso, New Mexico is Cafe Rio on Sudderth Drive. The best thing about their pizza is the abundance of toppings on each pizza. On our last visit, we ordered a large veggie pizza that had a ton of mushrooms, onions, olives, green chili and jalapeños on it. The crust is... More

The appearance is a real turn off. The building has lots of deferred maintenance & the roof leaks. The service was OK but the Pizza was great. These guys have really mastered the White Pizza -It's truly top notch. If you can roll with the flow you'll be in for some good pie ! If you are expecting Pizza Hut-... More

Having read the reviews before we visited this place, I knew what we were in for....and they did not fall short. Good pizza, bad service...wait, I suppose they did bring us our food. Rude greeting upon entering the door, I hear a voice from the kitchen, "take out or dine in", I replied, "dine in"....he says, "up against the wall".... More
