Sacred Grounds Coffee is one of our favorite places for breakfast in Ruidoso. Great coffee, nice pastries, and a small but tasty menu of breakfast and lunch items. Sacred Grounds has a 60's coffee shop flavor to it. There are always locals hanging out in the comfy chairs, reading the paper and catching up with each other. There is entertainment... More

I've heard mixed reviews about sacred grounds. I was in the are.for lunch one day and finally decided to give it a try! I mean why not?... It's a very warm, cool coffee shop. I could sit there all day. For being a coffee shop, they don't seem to have lots of coffee options. The lunch menu is great, good... More

I ate breakfast here twice During a 5 day stay. Both times I had the steel cut oats. They were so nutty and cooked to perfection. I've attempted to make this at home before and since and haven't gotten close to as good as this place. It is served with brown sugar, pecans, raisins, sliced banana and grapes. You can... More

Asked for a thick, creamy hot chocolate, they had 3 different kinds and said they could make the dark one like that. Well, it was a running hot chocolate like any other, little disappointed by that which certainly showed they do not know what a thick, creamy hot chocolate really is. Other than that, try the pumpkin roll with cream... More

Sacred Grounds has a large selection... Which is never good for people who can't make decisions, such as myself. The workers were helpful and helped me make a brilliant choice. I also bought Pistachio Coffee Grounds, which I recommend! Warm place to have a coffee with friends.

Oh my! I love this place. If I lived in Ruidoso, I would be a regular! Carefully prepared, very tasty food, excellent coffee (they roast beans there!), a great selection of beer....what else DO you need? We ate there 3 times in 3 days, and I wanted to eat there again, but darn! They close early! Vicky was super nice... More

This became our favorite place to eat during our first trip to Ruidoso. Wonderful quiches, salads and sandwiches made with fresh ingredients. They have the best coffee. Fresh baked goods - most made in-house - are delicious (a cookie comes with most food orders). They also have beer and wine. Relaxing atmosphere with outdoor seating. Super friendly and engaging staff... More

Love the coffee, decor and atmosphere. Gift items available. Had quiche for breakfast with fresh fruit. Larger portion of fruit would of been nice, but all in all it was great. I went back the next weekend and will definitely return
