It was alright for Ruidoso but were used to excellent Italian food like Maggianos and it was pretty pricey for what you get. For example a shrimp appetizer with 4 shrimp was around $14.

We tried twice to go to the one on the main drag, both times there was not where to park. Ended up going to a nasty Mexican place instead.

My family and I go to this restaurant at least once a month. My in-laws are visiting so we took them to eat dinner. They really liked the food, atmosphere and customer service. Prices are very good too. I would recommend for visitors and locals.

We happened across this restaurant and wanted to give it a try, it's very nice looking on the outside. While the staff was friendly, unfortunately the food lacked flavor. My chicken Alfredo tasted like it came from a can. My husbands lasagna lacked meat and also tasted like canned marinara and frozen pasta. The calamari tasted like it came straight... More

We loved this place, the food was very good (we ordered spaghetti and pizza) and the service was excellent. We were not going to ate the entire pizza since it was too much. We didn't had to ask for a box, our waiter brought us 2 boxes when he saw we weren't going to finish it all and let us... More

We wanted some Italian food one night but Michael J's was closed and we stumbled across this one so decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was very casual, nothing fancy. The service was very prompt and our waitress was nice enough. She then took our salad orders that came with our dinners, naming off the different dressings available,... More

Michelena's has been in Ruidoso for many years I know more than 20 but I don't know prior to that. They have a diverse Italian menu as well as a daily special. Their food is tasty and it's worth trying to get a parking spot in their tiny lot to get to. There have been lots of Italian restaurants come... More

Three couples ate at Michelena's and all of us enjoyed our food. We each ordered half orders and the serving was large. Our waitress was serving most of the tables in the restaurant and was stressed. Each of our couples paid our bills with credit cards ( or attempted to!). When the checks came back, one couple was charged twice....... More

The good wasn't good either ..( we didn't get pizza or lasanga ) and the people around us seemed pleased .. The meatball sandwich was good two of the children liked those.. Overall... More
