We stopped for lunch in this cute little retaurant off the main drag in Ruidoso. The sandwiches were huge! and fresh! and tasty!. Everything was made fresh and from scratch. We even spurged for their house specialty dessert, a lemon pie, with home made pie crust. Definitely terrific food and great value for your money. You won't leave hungry.

Four of us were in Ruidoso for a couple of days; we wanted a good place for lunch and found Blue Goose Café. We each tried "Tulia Trio". A one half sandwich, cup of soup and small salad. We each had a different sandwich and they were all good. The soup was the green chile cream soup; it was quite... More

If your looking for a sandwich, salad or soup this is your spot. The service and hospitality is the best for lunch in Ruidoso. Recommend the New Yorker, Chicken Salad and the Turkey and gouda. Try the green chili cream soup!

I was visiting my son in Ruidoso and he recommended this café. I was surprised when I entered the Cafe with the friendly greeting and the positive attitude of the wait staff. . The food is outstanding. If I lived in Ruidoso I would be a regular customer. I paid for my son, daughter-in-law and myself. I thought that this... More

We had lunch here and enjoyed parts of it. One dining partner ordered a turkey and gouda sandwich, which turned out to be huge - even with a good appetite he could not manage it and wished he'd chosen a soup or something to share. (A side note, is it the industrial turkey these days that produces piles of shavings... More

Our family ate here today and my husband and I split the more than filling club sandwich-it's huge! We shared the sandwich, with a side salad and side of potato salad - all very fresh and delicious! We chose to eat on the patio as the weather was beautiful-cozy patio and the service was great as well. Our food was... More

I had a late lunch here and it was the best meal I had in Ruidoso. The waitress and hostess were both friendly and attentive. The sandwich I had was great! And came with chips and lots of them. Desserts looked good but I was so full I just couldn't handle that. I would have eaten there more than once... More

When I'm granted the opportunity to have lunch in Ruidoso the first place that comes to mind if the Blue Goose. The locals here love it!!! My friends and I usually agree meeting up here for lunch. Bets the while "I don't know/care" response you can get out of ladies. The menu has great options but I've got several favorites... More

When traveling with our dog, I look for places with patios and ask if we can bring our dog. They made it a point to say they are very dog-friendly and were happy to have me post that online. However, the ground in the back (which overlooks a creek and the Sanctuary down the hill) is covered with the pointy-edged... More

After many trips to Ruidoso , we decided to give this restaurant a try. Portions were generous and the food was delicious. Highly recommend a Mexican Caesar salad and the cream of green chili chicken soup. The club sandwich had so much meat piled on top of it that it made it difficult to bite into. The wait staff was...
