Very tasty

Just like they say, "Cheap Barbecue isn't good and Good Barbecue isn't CHEAP! They take that to heart. The food is really god and worth it. Can be a bit Cold during the winter so bring your jacket and gloves!

I like the guys who run this place. We walked in for takeout fairly late on a Saturday night and they were very helpful. The food is pretty good and you will probably not be disappointed at all. I just have to rate it against Houston and Austin products and it is a very tough comparison. Go ahead and enjoy... More

We spent all day on the mountain, so this was a convenient stop back to the lodge, and glad we did! The staff was fun and made the wait pleasant, well at least the guy behind the meat with the "hair" and bandana. Attempted to put a smile on everyone's face! The food was very good and will be added... More

just good food. We have eaten here many times both dine in and take out. Being from Texas we were born eating BBQ. I would put this place high on my list.

We were there on Christmas day for dinner. The food was delicious! The BBQ and all the fixing were supreme. My husband and I got different things so we could mix and match. Super close to downtown and very easy to get there. If we visit NM again...we would definitely go back. Oh and don't forget to get thier homemade... More

We've tried this place several times and can only say it's average. The meat is smoked well but always seems to be dry. I can say the same thing for their sides. They are all dry and don't have the appearance or taste of freshly made food. For what they serve, it's overpriced.

Took it home... And there was a black pubic sized hair in my carnitas. Disgusting. I paid 11$ for a box of food that I could not eat. I'd like a refund.

Went back for the 2nd time during Christmas trip to Ruidoso. Love the pulled pork sandwich, sides, and cobblers. Never had anything that wasn't absolutely wonderful, including the jerky.

I got the "Pete's pick" which was a little sample of all the meats. It was decent barbecue. Not the best but not bad. There is not a lot of seating there so if you have a group bigger than 4 you better get it to go.

We actually went here even before some locals recommended it. Pretty simple setup. Choose a single item or combo, and eat in the small dine-in area next door. BBQ was very good. Both parents and kids were happy. Prices were reasonable. 6.99 for my brisket sandwich, 11.99 for a two meat combo with two sides, I think.

Thank Corpito
