Ignore the name. ignore the ambience (there is none). Look past using cheesy Styrofoam to-go boxes and plastic utensils. You go to this place for smokin' good BBQ. My BF and I love BBQ and we split a combo that had all the meats plus two sides (ignore the sides), it was plenty for the two of us. The sausage... More

Fabulous place for meat and I do like a hunk of meat! Best Carnitas around and the sides are divine! Yep try the potatoes and the mac and cheese, yum oh and finish it off with fantastic cobbler! Bring your appetite cause you get your money's worth!!! And the guys are fun and friendly! :-)

We were lucky and picked the right place to eat bbq in Ruidoso, NM. It was 4 of us and each had a different plate and it was all great, even the dessert. The young guy working there was so friendly towards us and answered any questions that we had. We will definitely go back!!!

What makes this a memorable place is Cecil, who is probably the most upbeat, positive guy I've ever met. He makes doubly sure that you get what you came for and, honestly, that is worth a lot these days. BBQ brisket, port carnitas, chicken, all the sides, plus homemade pies. There are not many BBQ places in Ruidoso. This I... More

Best BBQ I've found in New Mexico. Ribs fall off the bone. Sausage and turkey were excellent. Friendly staff. Worth going out of your way for this food

This is the second barbeque place I have eaten in Ruidoso. The other one didn't have chicken, only turkey, for some reason. I really love their chicken. Plan to buy chickens for the freezer. What I don't like is that it is really a take out place. There is a small seating area. We had to get our food then... More

Good pork sandwich. Sides available. My husband liked the chicken, slaw, and beans. Good fill-in till I get to Memphis for the best barbecue :)

My wife and I recently ate at the Can't stop Smokin' BBQ place in Ruidoso while on a trip there. The food (brisket, sausage, ribs, chicken) was excellent and the people working there were very nice and friendly. They have a nice outdoor patio with table to eat on. They also have some wonderful deserts to choose from. Great place... More

We stopped and got dinner on our way to our cabin upon arrival to Ruidoso. Food was good loved the potatoes and the meat was little dry we got a few ribs, chicken brisket and pork. The jalapeño cornbread was awesome as well. The one thing I would of liked was more menu options and explanations. We would of liked... More

We had lunch here after golf this week. Enjoyed sliced brisket and sausage. The sausage was the best part of the meal. The brisket was food but was full of fat and gristle. Also they charged me 50 cents to use credit card instead of cash.
