Good BBQ but not what I expected

The food was good, but it seemed to me that the combo was too much compliments and too few pork, for the price I was expecting something bigger, but the taste was good.

Coming from the BBQ capital of the world, Texas, the BBQ here is just OK. It seems to have been cooked days before and warmed up as ordered. The brisket is dry but the ribs are very good.. If in Ruidoso and wanting BBQ, this place is OK.

Pretty expensive, but it is not bad. I would rate the bar-b-que as average. Portions are pretty good sizes, but the chicken is a bit small. Brisket was good and the sausage was nice.

Always good food and nice people. The carnitas are a personal favorite, and you have to try there homemade pies!

The gentlemen that waited on us were super friendly! The food was delicious! I highly recommend the grilled chicken sandwich and the potatoes! My husband said the brisket and beef jerky were awesome too! Not to mention that all 4 of us ate for $30, not counting the jerky which my husband bought as we were leaving!

The chopped beef was delicious and the chocolate chip cookies were huge! Unfortunately, they didn't serve french fries or fried okra and they closed at 7 pm.

This place is now a favorite every time we visit. The ribs are yummy as well as their sides which include corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, and corn bread. Different meats from pork to beef, brisket, chicken and it's all very good.

We haven't had any good dining experiences in Ruidoso until we visited this place. Staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was excellent! The cookies were great too. We will be back to try some of the delicious looking pie we saw!!

I love the food, the price can be a little daunting, but it's worth it to go every now and then for sure. You won't find better tasting smoked meats anywhere.
