My wife and I ate here for lunch, while staying in Ruidoso. We love the fact that you can see all the food on display, and simply choose what you want. The brisket and sausage were great, as well as the desserts! The staff is quite friendly also!

When you enter this establishment you realize that there's a bait and switch going on. You've already been lied to before you even speak with an employee: the banner outside says "Lunch Special: $5.99", then on the menu inside it says "Lunch Special $6.99". Greeted by rude, poorly dressed, tattooed punks with bad attitudes and poor customer service skills, you... More

I have never actually eaten in the restaurant- we have always gotten take-out. (My parents live here.) The BBQ chicken was great! I really enjoyed it. The sides and cobbler we got were wonderful as well. My only complaint would be that the rolls were a little dry. Other than that, my family enjoyed our meal. We'll be back!

We stopped in after the high school football game and were promptly greeted by friendly people who served up good BBQ with homestyle sides. We each got our own customized plates which were a good value for what we received.

food tastes like nothing... literally nothing.. even is you pour the entire bottle of BBQ sauce, nothing. I am not a picky eater but chain BBQ places, are a 10000000% better. Once you eat there, you will remember my review... tasteless food. PS - service, restaurant, eating areas are great. The food is the only thing that really sucks

Being from Texas, I LOVE my BBQ. This is some of the BEST BBQ I have eaten...anywhere. Husband had smoked chicken salad sandwich & I had regular smoked chicken, both perfectly smoky and delicious. Sides were equally delicious. Fresh jerky & desserts looked awesome but we didn't try them because dinner portions were large. Very friendly staff. Only suggestion.. (with... More

I got hooked on it during the Lincoln County Cowboy Symposium when they first started setting up there,, now I'm lucky enough to live down the road and I stop in regularly. The beef ribs are to die for the the pies are pure heaven.

This is a must-visit any time in Ruidoso. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. You may have to wait in line for a bit, but it's worth it. This time I had the rib plate with green beans and mac and cheese. The green beans were way too peppery and the mac and cheese was watery,... More

This is the second time we have gone and it is upgraded from our first visit. THey done BBQ well. Not the best BBQ we have ever had but pretty good. It is one of the vest places to eat in or carry out in Ruidoso. One problem is they close early!

Ignore the name. ignore the ambience (there is none). Look past using cheesy Styrofoam to-go boxes and plastic utensils. You go to this place for smokin' good BBQ. My BF and I love BBQ and we split a combo that had all the meats plus two sides (ignore the sides), it was plenty for the two of us. The sausage... More
