While in Roswell we found a couple of gems on Tripadvisor and this place was one of them (Big D's Diner was the other). We did not know what to expect when we drove up to the place as it was a few blocks off the main strip and the building looked pretty ragged and dilapidated from the outside. I... More

This is my first review. This was a great little place with such a friendly staff and good food! I ordered breakfast but the hamburgers looked wonderful as they were coming out!

I found this place on Trip Advisor and took the kids. It was real cowboy sized breakfast. I had some of the best scrambled eggs ever and the kids enjoyed giant hot cakes. Great service too. A true hole in the wall treasure!

I found this place on Trip Advisor and decided to try it out, wanting to eat at a small, local place in Roswell. The staff was friendly and our waitress couldn't have been nicer. The food was delicious and tasted like something my mother would make. My boyfriend was apprehensive about going here, but once inside the cafe, he was... More

We ate here for breakfast. We got a lot of great food for very little money. The friendly service can't be beat. Our waitress kept our coffee cups full and she was very nice to our children. I had the Country Breakfast, my wife had the biscuits and sausage gravy, and our kids had the french toast. Everyone loved their... More

I like it. Like many places where good food is the experience, it is not for yuppies, home town hard working folks. The rolls are very good. The gravy is excellent on the real mashed potatoes & liked the chicken fried chicken. Price was right too.

We enjoy this stop each time on the road to Ruidoso. The food and service are excellent. These are the places we grew up on,only thing missing is a juke box. Don't let the red door or decor fool you, this place is good.

We stopped here on our way out of town for lunch. It is only open for Breakfast and Lunch, but the food is inspired New Mexico cooking. Our party had a hamburger, grilled cheese sandwich, adn the meatloaf. They were all wonderful. The unique thing about this place is the number of dollar bills hanging from the ceiling and windows.... We stopped in for lunch because their sign said that they had homemade pies. The food was very good and everyone was very friendly. If I make it back to Roswell I'll be sure to return.

Off the main drag in downtown Roswell, this relic of a locals' diner serves homestyle, non-commercial food in accomadating welcoming small spot. Traditional cowboy style eggs, hash browns, etc breakfast with lunch options available by request. Sausage homemade & spicy. Havent had sausage like this since a child. Hash browns fresh & bbq brisket sandwich spicy & succulent. To make... More
