We ate here because it was so close. Read the reviews first, so we didn't expect any better than what we got. When we entered, the greeter was not friendly. We followed her to a booth, she flipped two menus onto the table and walked away without saying a word. Nice welcome. At 6pm the place had only a couple... More

The first time we came here we showed up with a large party ahead of us. I think the staff assumed we were with the large party & we were basically ignored for five minutes. The food definitely made up for it. Our server was a bit slow on the draw, but friendly. The food was so good we went... More

Tia Juana's has new owners. The menu is good and reasonably priced. The drinks are good (if a little weak for a coconut margarita.) We ate in the bar area (where you usually don't have to wait,) but it can get noisy. They have TVs attuned to sports. The service is OK, and the night we were there the owners... More

First time eating there. Decided to try it due to the reviews. Food was good. We had the Mexican flag enchiladas with ground beef, chicken, and shredded beef enchiladas. The mini chimis appetizers was good too. Crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth on the inside. I could've eaten them by themselves. The margaritas were good too well... More

Service was fine, laid back, but pleasant. Drinks were good. Prices seemed a little high for lunch. Full menu with a wide variety. It wasn't the greatest but it served the purpose. Good food, good company, nice atmosphere.

Had dinner with my husband. The waiter was great and double checked ingredients in all the items as I have a severe allergy to wheat. My meal was good enough - much better than the last time we went but my husband did not like his meal at all. Said it was too bland. We specifically went to try the... More

The food is typical. The service was good. But, beware if you're expecting mild food. There was no mention from the staff or on the menu of the amount of jalapeno used in the dishes, but it was there! Salsa, guacamole and the pico took out most of my taste buds. Don't get me wrong...I know a lot of folks... More

Tia Juana's is a great Mexican restaurant. You can actually see the ingredients on the plate rather than have everything covered with melted, stringy cheese. The food is not as spicy as that of Northern New Mexico. It is fresh, with homemade tortillas and chips. The sopapillas are first class. And they serve a "snicker" chimi for dessert. Need I... More
