Tried to eat here on the Fourth of July but they closed early and we had to wait two weeks for our return to Roswell. The green chili cheese burgers did not disappoint! Staff is energetic and welcoming. I highly recommend a burger experience here. You will make a memory. Please, though, Downtown Dive, could you do something about your... More

it took two tries to find it. evidently it has moved. when you do the search it tells you the right address but when you go to maps it tries to take you to the old location. once you are there and over the fact of how crowded it is you see the menu, order and enjoy a great sandwich.... More

I walked in with 10 hungry boys and adults. We ordered burgers, fries and salad. The service was with a smile and the food came quick and hot. More fries than we could eat. A special sauce of the restaurant was super delicious. This is a simple and quaint restaurant, that I saw many locals eating at. Stop by if... More

Asked a local for dinner advice and she suggested Big D's. The restaurant is open and appealing. Tin, aluminum, and wood make up the tables and chairs. One wall is NM license plates. The staff is knowledgable and friendly. They helpful engage the customers waiting to order. Big D's offers free water which is a nice touch on hot days... More

Due to the limitations and lack of variety of and in eating establishments in roswell new mexico, it was hoped that I would find something new, with more flavor, and maybe even a little lower prices than the quality foods served elsewhere... This is a different atmosphere, that appears easy to fit an and be comfortable in.. Yet, the food... More

Stopped in Roswell for the night and just happened upon this place. Really glad we did! You order your food at the counter and they bring it out quickly. We had the monte cristo, the Texas BBQ burger, wings and a Philly with garlic fries. All of our food was excellent but the garlic fries are out of this world... More

In a land of only Mexican and New Mexican food, this is a wonderful delight. We had the Texas BBQ burger, Monte Crisco, southwest Cobb salad... All were perfect!

I'm not sure that Big D's lived up to the hype for me but the food was good and the staff was friendly. I had the Tomahawk Burger. I don't think that I've had a burger quite like it before. It was good. My wife had the Monte Cristo and she said that she liked it. My kids liked their... More

Congratulations to Big D's Downtown Dive for being chosen as one of the best burgers in the country. In fact, I'm going there today with some friends to celebrate. This really is one of the best places to eat. I've never had a bad meal or experience there. The food is good and the staff is fun.

Definitely lives up to the hype! Lunch for two people was a bit pricey (we each had a sandwich and split an order of fries, and each had iced tea and it was about $35) but definitely worth it. Best food we ate the entire trip.
