My husband and I didn't use to frequent O'Hares when pubs allowed smoking. Now we dine at O'Hares quite often. We really enjoy the food and the atmosphere and service are great. It is one of the few really good restaurants in Rio Rancho.

Tasty, generous portions and very comfortable booths. We girls like to chat for a few hours and weren't rushed, though we made sure our visit was worth their while. Love the art on the walls and the ambiance. Can get a bit noisy. Very pleasant waiters and staff. They do a lot of specials which bring a lot of repeat... More

I did like O'Hare's. I just can't say it exceeded my expectations. It was a very noisy night because the NM basketball game was on. That's not a problem for me. When I travel for work, I read a book while I eat. I have kids, so I can block out noise. It was a very busy night, but I... More

This is a busy spot that we frequented when we first came to ABQ. We try to find new places to go to now rather than going back to the same ol' same ol'. This is mostly a sports bar with food so kids can eat there too. A little noisy for us. Pub food is primary, but some full... More

Food & drink - all are welcome regardless of age bracket. We observe, contrary to bars for the younger set, that we can engage in conversation without difficulty.

Somehow O'Hare's slipped under my radar...they've been open since 1996 & I'm just finding it now...glad I did..A warm greeting at the door, relaxed interior, TV's throughout, some Irish memorabilia, tempting blackboard specials, nice varied menu and lots of beers...30 on tap & 37 bottled...menu ranged from nice looking salads, typical pub food (fish & chips, bangers & mash, etc.),... Great place to go for a down home meal. I enjoy going there and ordering the special of the day. Whatever it is, you can not go wrong.

Just up the street, but we don't go there often. The food is wonderful, but a little high for Sr's. There is always a smell of smoke & the way it's built it's just too loud & conversation is difficult. I know he's doing a good job in the community, but we drive by.

If you ever end up going here (which i recommend you should), try the green chile chicken fried steak. It is an amazing classic with a New Mexico twist! The staff is always very friendly. The food is great and the venue is clean.

Food was just ok. Staff was nice but really slow to seat a party of 5 on a Tuesday at 6:30 pm. We had to ask the Host for our waitress 2x. Drinks from the bar were average. bathrooms were clean, menus presentable with a variety of food selections. Parking lot well lit. Smell of smoke from their patio as... More
