After moving to Rio Rancho, NM., I found this little gem tucked away next to a strip mall. What a fantastic place! The beer is fantastic and the food is even better. They're pizza's are probably the best I've had in the area. The waitstaff is great and are always friendly. Even my two kids love going to Turtle Mountain.... More

Have dined here many times! The staff is always very friendly and will go the extra mile . Food is consistent and the menu is great! Have never had anything less than a great experience! On top of all that a fantastic rotating menu of house beers!

Went on a Thursday, it was crowded but we got sat in a timely manner. Waitstaff allowed small samples to allow us to chose from their house made beers. The beers were all very good and the food was even better. I think I found my favorite spot in Rio Rancho.

We picked this pub after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. I got the chicken quesadilla daily special. This dish was delicious and very reasonably priced. I like spicey dishes and the salsa served with the quesadillas fit the bill. It might be a little much for those that don't tolerate much spice. My husband had the... More

We were so lucky to read the great reviews for the Turtle Mountain Brewing Company (TMBC) while we spent a day in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. The reviews inspired us to eat dinner there - and we could not have made a better choice. The TMBC brews its own great beers right in the back room of the property (I... More

Altho the food was too spicy for me, Ron just LOVED it. We will return, but I'll get something less spicy.

The pizzas are "to die for". My wife had a sandwich and we shared a salad. I live in Rio Rancho and we try to eat her a couple times a month. Pizza and beer this is the place to go.

We always enjoy eating at Turtle Mountain. The food is great and there is a varied selection, as well as many choices for the beer drinker. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. The only problem is that it gets very busy on the weekends and there is sometimes a long wait. That's because it's one of the most popular food... More

More true to the point, it really is more than just a bar. It's more like a brick oven pizza joint. It's also pretty loud in there. The menu is adequately sized with stuff like Pizza(go figure), burgers, mac and cheese (fantastic!), nachos, salads, calzones, sandwiches, etc....If you choose nachos, bring a friend and have lots of beer or water.... This is a pub. It is one of the better places in Rio Rancho for a sit down dinner if you like brick oven pizza and bar food. The actual dinning space is of average size. The interior is dark. But it is LOUD. They do craft their own beer and the price is average to the local area.
