A party of 12 for lunch. Waitress was prompt seemed efficient asked and answered questions and took orders. Then the fun began. Who ordered what to drink was first game. Second game was getting right orders to right guest. Did not pass. The chili burger turned into a cheeseburger, the black bean side order with ham & cheese sandwich became... More

My husband and had bacon wrapped tenderloin steaks tonight they were tender and had a great flavor. He ordered his medium and I ordered medium-well, they were perfect. The sides were good too. We both care more about the food than atmosphere, which was fine. It's Red River after all, a casual town.

We had no problems with service and our waitress was friendly and efficient (although she forgot to bring my requested mayonnaise) when we had lunch at Brett's Bistro recently. I asked for my burger to be served without the bun, and it arrived as ordered. We all had green chile cheeseburgers, and we agreed it was the best flavored meat... More

Let me start by saying that I am astonished that this place has not been reported before! Some good friends of mine were here just this past week ,and were treated like common trash! My friend Dana's husband had the nerve to ask for two veggies instead of the mash potatoes and they were ignored and told by their waiter... More

We were visiting Red River, NM for our vacation. We have been coming here for 25 years. We went to try a new resturaunt since the last time we were here 4 years ago. I looked on-line at the reviews and thought ok we'll give it a try. The food was great. Our problem started when my husband asked the... More

OK...calling something the best food in Red River is not that big of a compliment, but the food IS great, our service was fine (despite the fact that every table was occupied), prices were reasonable for the quality, and maybe I'm not that fussy, but seriously, how worked up can you get over decor? If you are looking for a... More

Took my Dad to Red River......... Asked for our burgers to be well done.....waiter said "they are always cooked thru". When the burgers arrived 20 min later they were raw on the inside. Had to get the attention of another waitress who was much kinder and embarrased that our burgers were raw. Waited another 15 min for our food to... More

Excellent food... We visit Red River a few times a year and just discovered Bretts Bistro... The decor is out dated and plain but the service was great and the staff was very friendly. I had the Chicken Alfredo and I can honestly say that it was the best dish I've ever had. My husband had a steak and he... More

The food at Brett's is top notch and delicious. The filet was perfectly cooked, and served with mouth-watering sides - mashed potatoes dripping in flavorful brown gravy and well seasoned, colorful green beans. The salmon dish, which offered an extremely generous portion of lovely salmon, came on top of a tasty rice pilaf and with a side of fresh green... More

We decided to try Brett's after seeing the reviews here. If they paid attention to the customer end of the business it would be great. Very small place and we waited patiently to be seated when there were three tables cleaned. Finally a local got up from his table where he was having lunch and told us to go ahead... More
