While walking around Red River, NM the weather changed suddenly from the 50's and partly cloudy to the 30"s with rain that changed to snow. It was an intense fast storm that drove us indoors quickly and we found ourselves at Brett's Bistro at lunch time, perfect! Everyone stared out the big windows at the incredible downpour while the great... More

Brett's is awesome! So good I ate there almost everyday on a ski trip recently! The ribeye was great and the green chile cheese burger may have been the best burger I have ever had!

Dress up or come in from the slopes, Brett's is waiting with some delicious food for lunch or dinner. Our group tried both meals. The lunch group was almost at full capacity and the dinner crowd had found this great restaurant as well. The food is prepared by a chef who chooses his menu daily so the food is excellent.... More

We ate here twice during the week. Everything we had was excellent! Be patient on the service as one waitress served the entire place (around a dozen tables) which were usually full, but she did it with a smile and some running!

We were lucky enough to arrive in time to have the prime rib special that is served on Sunday nights. This was our wedding anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. The prime rib was cooked to perfection, the vegetables were not overcooked and the soup was a delightful concoction of tomatoes, cream and crunchy bits of celery in the... More

Just like the title states-good burgers, horribly slow service and not accommodating at all. They need to hire a second server, as they only had one waitress who did take a while to help us even though there was only one other table when we got there. As the restaurant quickly filled up for lunch they only sent in a... More

Due to the few dining choices on a Sunday in late September in this picturesque little village my wife and I settled on Brett's. Huge mistake! Perhaps the worst service I've ever experienced anywhere. There were only 5 of the dozen or so tables being used, we were the only people waiting for a table, but we waited for over... More

Again on my business travels took me to the scenic Town of Red River at about lunchtime. Most of the places I tried were not open or didn't look like someplace i wanted to eat at for a sit down lunch. I saw Brett's and gave it a try. The food was very good, fast and service was excellent. The... More

My husband & I stayed the night in Red River and we were advised by several to go to Brett's. My husband had the rib eye w mash potatoes which I sampled they were delicious. I tried the trout and was not disappointed. The garden salad was also fresh. We both thought the wait staff were excellent. Someone had called... More
