Memorial Weekend 2015

I Elk hunt this area in the winter, and visit the Bull o' The Woods for lunch then, but we decided to come in the spring and tour the Enchanted Circle. It was cool, and there was some rain, but we worked around it. We had lunch and a beer on Thursday before the weekend. As usual, they have very... read more

Although we did not eat here, the tables around us looked yummy! We had drinks and listened to an awesome guy sing and play guitar.

This place has the best selection of beer we found anywhere in town. The bartenders were really helpful, too, but you have to wait a bit for help. The place can get pretty crowded since it's the only real bar in town. It looks like you can now bring kids in the bar, but I'm not sure it is really... More

We went there for lunch. The people weren't rude but they weren't talkative so several groups sat at the or table before we figured out you had to go to the grill to order your food and then you have to go to the bar to order drinks or refills. No big deal but I would like someone to tell... More

This place was super fun. Great bartender and good food. Great prices and pool tables too. Locals love this place too. I will definitely go back again!

Had a great time celebrating Mardi Gras at Bull of the Woods with crawfish! They also have awesome burgers and pizza! We took my nephews early and they had a great time playing pool and shuffleboard and then the adults stayed for some fun after the kids left, lol.

This bar is an institution in Red River. I think everyone who enjoys a drink has ventured into this place at least once. I visit every time i am in town. The drink prices are reasonable and food is available at a separate counter. I ordered the hot wings on this trip and enjoyed them thoroughly.

We ate and drank here when arriving at Red River around 4. The atmosphere is pretty laid back at that time. The music was great and the food & beverages were as well. They have live bands that play there, but none while we where there. I bet this place is really a great hangout during the late hours of... More

I frequent this saloon whenever I am in Red River. It is frequented by locals and tourists alike and is authentic New Mexico. They have added to their appeal (as far as I am concerned) by offering O'Dell beer.
