Good Italian Food

Green Chile Stew at an Italian Restaurant? You betcha! One of the best green chile stews you'll find in Red River. The Italian food is very good too. I'm a green chile fanatic, so I really enjoy the green chile calzone. Go around dusk in the winter and you can watch all the lit torches ski down... read more

Fair food. A bit high for what I ordered. Felt old and musty. I hear the pizza is better than entree

This was our favorite place to eat in Red River. It seemed to be open when others were not. The food and service were outstanding.

Spending the day walking around town and Taos we wanted a meal to fill us and keep us warm before heading to establish our campsite. My parents had eaten here a many time therefore they wanted to return. There was outdoor seating but due to the impending rain, we sat inside. Service was very good and kept us taken care... More

NOT worth the visit. Service was slow and terrible. We were charged $22 for a medium specialty pizza that didn't have all the toppings that would make it a "specialty". It was served cold and the toppings were on top as if they were an after thought. Staff didn't seem to happy from the hostess to the waiters. Won't be... More

My first time there and I had the Capo Grande. 'Layers of rigatoni, sliced roast beef, mushrooms, and green chile, topped with capo's meat sauce and cheese. Served in a casserole dish piping hot'. And it was. Hot and delicious. I never would have thought of putting Hatch chiles in an Italian dish, but it was FANTASTIC'. But beware. Unless... More

Between us over the years we have eaten there about 4 times. Not once have we enjoyed the food or the service. This last time the "creamy" pasta alfredo had a fishy flavor and tasted more like it was made with water that a cream sauce. We were hungry but could not eat it. Also ordered pizza and it was... Very good pizza and other items. Have eaten at this location many times and continues to be a good resturant. It is open for lunch and dinner.

It's one of the friendlier restaurants in Red River. The food is good although rather high as with most places in town. We aren't big on pizza but that was ordered one night and it was the best we had ever eaten anywhere. A note: We thought the kids' sized pizza was rather expensive. The desserts are very overpriced! The... More

Our group of nine went to dinner and had a variety of dishes. The Italian food is average and the service was good. Glad we got there early because it was packed when we left. The gentleman at the next table ordered Lemon Pie. I asked how it was and he raved on. I took mine to go. He needs... More
