As a frequent diner I most recently experienced both a mediocre meal but the WORST service ever in all my years. One member of our party who had ordered a menu item with NO special instructions or substitutions was not served by the time others in the party had nearly finished their meal despite the wait staff continuing to reassure... I have had the pleasure of sampling half a dozen fine restaurants in the Taos area. By far the meal at Old Martina's Hall was the best I ever had. On July 9, 2014 I had a great meal at the Old Martina's Hall which is right close to the historic old San Francisco de Asis Mission Church and the... More

Our server was delightful, my husband and I got the chicken schnitzel. My sister had the special salad of the night which featured grilled salmon. We were all very pleased with our meals. The portions were huge. The pastries looked very good but we were too full to try anything. We asked about the history of the hall and our... More

As a Taos resident who lives near Old Martina's I want to like it. I have been several times over the year or so since it has been open and each time the food is only mediocre and inconsistent. I have had maybe one good meal there. They do have vegetarian options. The service is also terrible. I no longer... More

I've been going to Old Martina's Hall since they opened and, not unlike other restaurants, there are growing pains involved. But after dining there twice in the past two weeks, I've given up. Sad because Martina deserves community support for all the trials and tribulations she went through to open this wonderfully restored restaurant. And while the food has had... More

Dinning room was that of a bar, cafe, lunch.Couple next to our table (birthday wife) had to listen to both the man and women on their cell (loud). We spoke with the waitress and was told they/she could do nothing. This was thought to be a nice place to give a birthday dinner for two. Shall share our experence!

Entrees were over priced and tasteless. Waitress barely knew we were there. Elderly couple sitting next to us couldn't separate themselves from there cell phones. After talking to the staff about our experience we were told they couldn't do anything. Won't return! There are too many wonderful restaurants in Taos to ever patronize this establishment again!

I was looking forward to a return visit to Old Martina's, as earlier visits had been excellent. This time, the one waitress and one bartender were totally overwhelmed by a lunch rush that was entirely predictable... why were there only two people running the entire dining room during lunch? When we arrived a few minutes before noon, there were four... More

I have dined there about 5 times and have never been disappointed. the dishes are attractive and of excellent quality. I have enjoyed several great performances there including local bands. the large hall can be a little chilly in the winter though.

Our waitress, Patricia R., was delightful and attentive to my allergies and served everything we ordered wonderfully. The Chef made sure I had a meal that would please my palette and my sight. My husband totally enjoyed his selection too. Nothing could have been better during our meal at Old Martina's Hall. We did dine there the night before the.... More
