The food here is first class. The atmosphere is pleasant, and there is a chef's counter where you can watch the food being prepared.

This family owned restaurant is about 20 minutes from the center of Albuquerque but it is well worth the drive. I have been there at least 10-15 times in the last year. I have never been disappointed. The food is fresh, made with care and innovation and the portions are for people not for elephants. I recommend this wholeheartedly.

Immediately upon entering, the smell and haze looked like the kitchen exhaust system was not working properly. Hostess seem surprised at our comment. We were one of 3 tables at 6pm and service at the beginning of the meal was prompt. By 7pm, the place was pretty full and the speed of service deteriorated to poor. Apparently something was up... By living in the area, we know the reputation and the owners of the establishment, which can be good or bad. In this case, this is a pure asset to the community, as an upscale restaurant has been sorely needed here foe some time and this one is a silver bullet, providing great atmosphere, superb wine list, great variety on... This is a lovely place to have a delicious meal. The food is well prepared and beautifully presented. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. And you have a choice of seating on the patio or inside surrounded by ever changing always interesting works of art. Stop by and have a relaxing meal.

Great menu, great food and great service. Unusual presentation of calamari. Eating out on a patio in the shade of trees on a beautiful NM evening can't be beat! Pricey.

My wife I and 4 of our friends visited Blades last weekend. We were excited to try it based on the reviews and menu, but every one of us was disappointed. To start, the restaurant lost our order. Now that happens sometimes, but one would think the waiter would notice that it had been over 45 minutes since we had... More

Ok......I have tried this place twice now......last year and last night. I will NOT go again! Terrible service, which I blame on management! Food not so hot except for a good iceberg wedge..... Save your money......suggest you go someplace else
