Most negative trip advisor reviews are written by someone with an ax to grind, and this negative review is no exception. I suggest readers view it in light of other reviews and take it for what they feel it is worth. Great steak but huge portions. If you are not a big eater, try splitting a dinner. They have a plate sharing charge, but it's worth it. more

10 of us Tucson Pathfinders made our annual hiking and touring trek to the Silver City, NM area over the July 4th holiday weekend. A tradition of this trip is a Saturday night dinner at the historic Buckhorn Saloon steakhouse in quaint Pinos Altos, 7 miles north of Silver City.
