Excellent!

Probably one of the most characteristic Mexican restaurant of the USA. I suggest to taste the spicy Margarita...Do not miss it!

This restaurant is our favorite in NM. The first place we stop to eat when visiting. Authentic delicious Mexican food and great atmosphere and decor. The history is fun to know Billy the Kid and others from the "wild west" have been in the sAme building. A definite must stop for anyone visiting the area.

My wife and I have been coming to this place for 49 years. Yup, I'm that old!!! It has always been our absolute favorite place for Southern New Mexico Mexican food. The food is superb -- over the years, we have tried about everything on the menu and it has always been fantastic. We have a favorite table in this... More

We had multiple recommendations so we had to try it. It did not disappoint. The waiting area is decorated with live bird cages and large aquariums, and I would not have minded waiting there for a good while, but we were seated promptly. The atmosphere inside continued to be interesting and gave us plenty to look at and comment on... More

I had the Chile Relleno and they were really delicious. I don't think I have ever had any better Mexican meal anywhere. The service was excellent and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg

On the western outskirts of town in an old historic district. The place is rather large and can accommodate large groups. The food was decent but didn't "wow" me. Overall, I'd try it again and ask for something spicer. The food reminded more of chain quality food versus something I'd expect to find in a place like this.

Been coming here since the 60s and never ever been disappointed. Actually spend the night in Las Curces just to eat here. They are going on 75yrs. Best Mexican Food Ever.

This Mesilla staple offers a wide selection of authentic New Mexican food as well as a few choices for gringos. We've been here a few times and the food is consistently good and it's reasonably priced. It's a great place to bring large groups. Culture and local history abound throughout the restaurant including in the waiting area with its beautiful... More

This is a fun place to sit and enjoy the decor and activity, but if at a table they like to move you along. Food is good and usual offerings. Good value. Busy place so be prepared to wait if you don't have reservations.

6 of us dined, 2 tables pushed together, 1 Tea-light had gone out. Diane asked our waiter to replace it. He said no, tho' she pointed to lit candles on other unoccupied tables - she was told to help herself!!!!! There was no Sauvignon Blanc, just Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio. I asked to try the Chardonnay, not my fave, especially... More
